It is easy to find ready-made using the Internet. If you represent the general principles of operation of the device, own the methodology for its calculation, you can develop a project yourself.

As a simple option, use a valve from a propane or oxygen cylinder, known as the VK-74 model (see diagram).

A fitting is machined to the side thread, which will simultaneously serve as a handle. You can use a suitable size pipe. On one side, cut an internal thread, on the other, make a shank for putting on a gas hose.

We screw the cap onto the thread with which it is attached to the cylinder. We drill a hole in its end, cut the thread for the jet. We weld a nozzle to the plug on steel knitting needles, which will simultaneously serve as an injection chamber.

Even easier if you come across an old acetylene torch or gas cutter. In fact, this is a finished burner. It is enough to remove, so as not to interfere, the parts associated with the supply of oxygen, replace the gas nozzle with a jet, fix the injection chamber-nozzle above it.

A very tiny gas burner can be made from a basketball inflator, a syringe needle and a couple of droppers, or as they are called medical "systems" of drug drip. Homemade work can even work from a can for refilling lighters.

Carefully drill a hole with a drill of a suitable diameter, not reaching the end of about a millimeter. We grind the remaining metal until a point appears, left by the very tip of the drill.

After that, with a thin drill or a hardened awl, we punch a hole of the desired diameter from the inside.

Any suitable object can be used as a handle. A handle from an old soldering iron, a piece of thick-walled hose, a drilled piece of wood will do.

To fix parts and hoses, we use clamping clamps, glue of a thermal gun.

The burner flame is adjusted and adjusted in the following ways:

  1. gas control valve - current;
  2. moving the nozzle (jet) along the axis of the injection chamber, changing its opening.
  3. changing the size and shape of the supply window through which atmospheric air enters.

Step one. Coil

The coil is made of a copper tube and fuel flows through it. Of course, in a hot tube, the fuel instantly turns into gas and leaves the nozzle at high speed, a closed cycle is obtained.




















We take a tube of a suitable diameter and twist a coil of copper tube around it. As for the number of turns, the author has about ten of them, which is quite a lot and five should be enough.

Next, we need to twist the coil around the existing one, it will heat up less, this will allow us to connect a rubber hose to the coil. For such purposes, we need another pipe of a larger diameter so that the manufactured coil can enter it. Here we are already doing about 5 turns and centering the outer coil over the inner one. We leave a piece of the tube longer so that you can connect the rubber hose. That's it, the heating element is ready.

Step two. Nozzle
Let's make a nozzle through which hot combustible gases will escape. The nozzle is a hole of small diameter, the diameter of the author corresponds to the tip of a pin. If you make the hole large, you can get too big a flame. We make a hole in the tube, and expand the end of the tube to clog the end. We bend the tube so that the nozzle is directed inside the coil in the center.














Step three. legs
We make legs for the burner, we bend them from thick iron wire. We fasten the legs to the body with a thin iron wire. If you wish, you can come up with other legs, you can even make a small oven or stove.






Step four. Assembly and testing
We connect a dropper to the burner, with the help of which it will be possible to regulate the supply of fuel. But it is better to use a more reliable hose for connection, since such a thin hose from a dropper will surely melt and fly off with all the consequences.
