Учимся строить вопросительные предложения в Present Simple
Вопрос, который начинается с вспомогательного глагола do/does , называется общим. Такой вопрос соответствует интонационному вопросу в русском языке.

Предлагаем короткие задания-ситуации по Present Simple. Они будут интересны студентам - они приближены к реальной жизни и позволяют понять, где можно применить грамматическую структуру.
Грамматика - важный аспект обучения, но вместе с тем вызывающий затруднения у большинства студентов. Выполнение огромного количества однообразных упражнений утомляет.
А что если, пройдя необходимые стадии работы с грамматикой (presentation, elicitation, controlled practice), перейти на закрепление грамматической структуры в говорении (production)? Есть большое количество грамматических игр, но они либо рассчитаны на групповое обучение, либо занимают слишком много времени на уроке.
Spot the lie
Present Simple: affirmative and negative. Уровни – от elementary.
Цель задания – составить правдивые и неправдивые предложения о себе, своих привычках и интересах. Задача партнёра угадать, что является неправдой.
Задание для студента: “Make 3 (5,10) sentences. Two (three,eight) should be true and one(two) false. After that I will guess which sentences are a lie.”
Например:
I hate posting videos on Facebook.
I usually take photos when I am on holiday.
I have my personal blog.
Для студентов средних уровней и выше можно усложнить задание. Прежде, чем угадать, что является неправдой, вы задаете студенту дополнительные вопросы и наблюдаете за его реакцией и логичностью ответов. Затем преподаватель и студент могут поменяться ролями.
Guess the job
Present Simple: affirmative. Уровни – elementary, pre-intermediate.
Задание для студента:
“Imagine that you talk to a person who you have just met. He/ she doesn’t say his/her profession but want you to guess.”
Вы и студент по очереди составляете предложения об обязанностях различных профессий.
Например,
I work outdoors. I train every day. I run quickly. I play a ball game. (a footballer)
Или от третьего лица чтобы практиковать -s:
She answers phone calls. She takes messages. She schedules meetings for her boss.(a secretary).
Преподаватель и студент могут задавать 3 дополнительных вопроса чтобы угадать профессию.
Чтобы добавить соревновательный момент, можно подсчитывать количество угаданных вариантов.
Альтернативный вариант – отгадывать национальные стереотипы.
Например,
They drink a lot of tea.
They eat a lot of hamburgers.
They go to the beach every day.
They drink a lot of alcohol.

Найдите короткое видео на youtube, где пользователи рассказывают о себе.
Сделайте скриншот из видео и покажите студенту. Попросите его составить 5-10 предложений об этом человеке: его характер, работа, хобби, используя Present Simple.
Например:

She likes funny hats.
She studies at high school.
She lives with her family.
She doesn’t eat meat.
Затем предложите студенту и узнать были ли верны его предположения.

Дайте студенту список активностей.
Например,
buy new clothes, eat pasta, take photos. get a haircut, do the laundry. surf the Internet, visit the dentist, go on holiday, visit relatives.

Looking for a flatmate

Цель задания – задать вопросы и узнать насколько общие у студента и преподавателя привычки и увлечения. Задание для студента:
You are looking for a flatmate and you are going to interview Anna to find out if I can be an ideal flatmate. You can ask about:hobbies, pets, possessions (a car, a vacuum cleaner etc) and daily routines (get up, go to work, come home,activities in the evening).
