1.2.8. Opening and closing windows

The switches in the driver's door can control all power windows. In other doors there are power window control keys for each specific door.

Press the key to open the corresponding window.

Always close windows when parking or leave it unattended.

After turning off the ignition, you can still use the power windows for about 10 minutes, if during this time the key has not been removed from the ignition lock or none of the front doors has been opened.

Buttons in the driver's door:

Safety switch

Automatic lifting and lowering windows

Unpacking process and contents

What struck me the most was the inscription on the box “Original car parts” and on the module itself “QASHQA T". Nu-nu…

Remove the decorative door trim. We start to pry from the bottom and go up.




We unscrew the screws on the handle (2 pieces - a curly screwdriver). DO NOT REMOVE the handle otherwise it can be broken.


We pry the casing from below, find the places for installing the clips and pull the casing towards ourselves.



As soon as all the clips are snapped off from below, we begin to snap them off on the sides, feeding the skin towards ourselves. After that, we release the door handle (pull a little towards ourselves) and slightly lifting it up, disconnect the trim from the door.


Wires go to the power window control unit, to remove them, turn the casing to the side clockwise and get access to the connectors. There is usually a latch on the connector, press on it and remove the connector. There are 2 of them.


Congratulations, the door trim has been removed. :) We put aside.


We stupidly look at the connection diagram and count the number of holes on the connectors. converges.


We connect. It is impossible to make a mistake in the direction of connection, there are grooves with keys and each plug has its own connector.


We unscrew the door speaker (3 bolts - a key for 10). And unplug it.


Inside we see a wiring harness that bifurcates. We need a thin part of the harness, there are usually from 2 to 4 wires, this was found out on auto forums. I had 3 of them.


Since there are 2 wires with the inscriptions “LOCK” and “UNLOCK” on the module cable, we will look for them.
