Ivan Franko Zhytomyr State University is a complex polystructural system that includes a number of educational, research and production complexes, research centers and institutes, dozens of laboratories, a rich library, a computer center, an agrobio station, an observatory, an institute of postgraduate education, a canteen and buffets , 5 dormitories for 2 thousand beds and a modern and powerful sports complex an area of about 3 hectares.
One of the features of Zhytomyr State University is democracy and humanization of relationships between students and teachers. The university has a collective agreement that provides for the encouragement of any constructive activity of students and teachers for the benefit of the university, the region and the state as a whole.
The Student Brotherhood, created at the university, together with the administration, organizes the life of students in such a way that none of the more than eight thousand student families stand aside from the cultural and social university life.
