Cake, curly poodle. Poodle cake with raspberries Ingredients for twelve servings
These unique dogs were the first among all breeds of decorative dogs to achieve such wide popularity. Every country in the world knows about the poodle.
Outwardly, this dog looks quite glamorous: curly hair, a chiseled muzzle, and if you give this charmer a beautiful haircut... you just can’t take your eyes off it! But what does history say about the origin of this breed?
It turns out that the real “working” blood of true workers flows in the veins of poodles: Portuguese and French water dogs, as well as barbets and light greyhounds. In addition, poodles also contain some lapdogs. Apparently this “thermonuclear” mixture gave the representatives of the breed a set of unique qualities: beauty combined with endurance and intelligence. Poodles inherited something different from each breed: lapdogs gave them luxurious hair, barbettes gave them funny curls and a fearless character, greyhounds gave them a graceful figure and temperament.
As you know, poodles are usually cut like a lion. This is done only for the purpose of easier care of the animal’s fur. The fact is that if you don’t style your poodle’s hair, it will become completely overgrown and shaggy. Although there are several types of hairstyles, each of them is valued in its own way. But this applies to those poodles who participate in competitions and exhibitions.
There are several varieties of poodles. Depending on the subspecies, the sizes of representatives of this breed also vary. For example, a miniature poodle grows up to 35 centimeters at the withers, a royal poodle - from 45 to 60 centimeters, a toy poodle's height is only 28 centimeters, and small poodles grow no higher than 45 centimeters. Poodles have an elongated, angular muzzle and a rather elegant head. Poodles have long, rounded ears that hang down to their lips. The body of representatives of this breed grows in length approximately equal to the height at the withers. Poodles' limbs are graceful, long and straight. These dogs have a long tail, although sometimes breeders dock it.
The wool of representatives of this wonderful breed deserves a special mention. Poodles have thick, fluffy, slightly curly hair. Poodles sometimes have spiral-shaped coats. The color of poodles is a very important criterion when selecting for participation in various competitions and exhibitions. Only the following shades are allowed: gray, brown, black, white, apricot, red.
Spotted poodles, as well as individuals with transitional tones in coat color, are not accepted. It is extremely important that a poodle that is going to be shown and compete has its hair cut.
Poodles are very good-natured dogs, smart and well-mannered. However, there are categories of breeders and simply pet lovers who should not buy a poodle for their home - these are people with a limited amount of time. The coat of this animal requires careful and regular care; if you neglect combing and trimming even a little, the dog will become unkempt and shaggy. Haircuts should be carried out at least once every 2 to 4 months.
You should get a poodle if you:
- New to dog breeding. Dogs of this breed are highly trainable; thanks to their natural intelligence and intuition, they will always be able to adapt to their owner, even in the absence of sufficient training. They are not aggressive, moderately playful and do not organize violent uncontrolled games.
- Resident of an apartment building. The small size of these dogs guarantees comfortable living together in one, even small, area.
- Love to surprise. As already mentioned, poodles are glamorous dogs, naturally, when well-groomed and trimmed.
"Poodle", "Pancho", Pinscher" are essentially the same cake, but there are simply a lot of recipe options. Everyone who has already baked it knows that it is very simple to make and very tasty. If you have not tried it with fresh raspberries - I recommend. Sour cream goes well with this berry.
To prepare this cake you need to take: eggs, condensed milk, sugar, sour cream, cocoa powder, flour, soda, butter, milk and fresh raspberries.
We bake the cake. To do this we make dough. Break eggs into a bowl and add sugar. Mix.
Add a level teaspoon of soda and sour cream.
And also condensed milk. Mix.
Put in flour.
And cocoa powder.
Mix again. The crust dough is ready.
Place baking paper on the bottom of the baking dish and pour the dough into it.
Bake the cake in the oven at a temperature of 170-175 degrees C for 45-50 minutes. We check readiness with a match or wooden skewer.
Then cool the cake a little and cut into small cubes.
We make cream from sour cream and sugar. Use sour cream with a fat content of at least 20%.
Assembling the cake. Place pieces of cake on a dish in layers and a layer of cream on top, as well as fresh raspberries.
Fold the cake into a mound.
Preparing chocolate glaze. In a bowl, combine milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and butter.
Place on low heat and stir constantly until smooth and thickened. The result should be a smooth, lump-free, shiny glaze. Let it cool.
Pour the resulting chocolate glaze over the cake.
Decorate with raspberries on top. Let it soak for 2-3 hours.
The cake is very tasty, soft and tender, moderately sweet.
Serve with tea, coffee or milk.
