When Dimka was one year old, he really liked to unscrew different caps from bottles, boxes, tubes, etc. So I decided to make him such a toy. It is interesting that he could only unscrew the little one, and after about six months he learned to twist it. After all, when you unscrew it, you twist it in one direction, and you twist it in the other. The kid learned this science himself. This is such a useful and interesting toy.

And to make it is not at all difficult, and the materials for it are the most junk - cardboard and lids from already used vessels.

First you need to assemble different covers with their bases. At bottles of lemonades, yogurts, juices, liquid soap I cut off the neck. And at the juice boxes, I tore off the bases along with the lids. And yet, covers for the same bases can be typed in different colors and more, otherwise they are quickly lost.

I made the basics in the form of tablets like this. I took an ordinary box cardboard, glued it with paper for strength. I pasted the drawing and let everything dry well under the weight of thick books. When everything was dry, I painted the drawings acrylic paints- they do not get dirty when used. I drew the office with a black marker. I pasted pictures of animals on the trailers of the train. I glued the bases of the covers onto the drawings with a hot gun. But another strong adhesive is also possible.
Carton sizes.

I really liked the idea educational games from covers from plastic bottles. This toy is perfect for a child. Trying to twist or unscrew the lid, making an effort, the child will train his fingers. In addition, this toy will contribute to the development of coordination, memory, attention, the child will be easier to master. To achieve different goals, you can make different games.

The game is easy to make on your own, while showing imagination and creativity. For the base you will need a plastic one with an opening lid. Also prepare necks with caps from plastic bottles. It's good if they are different color and size. Then in the lid it will be necessary to cut holes for the necks. Insert the necks into the holes so that the lid can be screwed onto it from the front. You can fix the neck with glue or tape. Secure the lid with tape.

To make it more interesting for a child to play, come up with some plot for the game, for example, a ship is sailing on the sea, the sun is shining, birds are flying. Under the covers, you can "settle" different characters - draw or stick pictures;

A train rides, trees grow, animals run; the car is driving on the road, traffic light. Pictures can be made from the application, and wheels, windows, traffic lights from covers. The picture can be finished with felt-tip pens or supplemented with stickers. And to make the game last longer, glue the pictures with tape.

Also this toy will be useful for. For this purpose, you can stick flowers of different colors and pick up a core for each color. You can also form a color perception with simple lids, sorting them by color. It is possible to use multi-colored covers instead of mosaics, making up different pictures and patterns from them.

The game "Paired pictures" will help develop a child's memory. It's also not hard to make your own. To do this, select bottle caps, preferably the same size and color. You can use lids from baby food jars. Pictures can be cut from the alphabet or found on the Internet.

A similar game can be made from pieces of fabric. Pick up small pieces of fabric of different textures: wool, cotton, silk. You can use pieces of fur, foam rubber, velvet paper. Glue these pieces into bottle caps. Invite the child to feel the fabric and find the same one from the proposed samples. In the future, you can complicate the game by hiding the caps with a cloth in a bag. It is necessary to find the right cap without looking, by touch.

The lids can also be played in the bathtub while bathing. Dip lids of different colors and sizes into the water. Give the baby a sieve or a spoon and offer to catch the lids. Ask to fish for caps of a certain color if you want to reinforce knowledge of different colors. Or ask your baby to fish out small caps first, then large ones to fix the size.

Also suitable for training these skills.

With these simple educational games from covers you will always find a useful activity for your baby.

Plastic caps from bottles, various jars, tubes and cosmetics- a wonderful material not only for creative experiments, and making useful for children's legs. They can also be safely used in a variety of educational activities with children.

Earlier on the site in the article, attention was already paid to interesting and exciting games and activities with caps. Now I would like to offer other options for using this waste material for spending boring and developing leisure time with children.

In almost all the games offered below, in addition to the covers themselves, cardboard cards or playing fields are also used, which are quite simple and quick to manufacture. You will see for yourself.

Educational game "Find the color and count"

Training. For this game, you need to make in advance small cards of the same size (approximately 6 x 9 cm) from colored cardboard (colors are chosen according to the covers of the available colors). The cards are small, so I used scraps of cardboard left over from creative activities to make them. On each card, any number from 1 to ... is written. - the upper limit of the digital series is determined by the presence of caps of a given color.

When the multi-colored cards are ready, you can start the game.

The cards are shuffled and placed in a pile on the table with the colored side down. Also in front of the child is a box with lids of different colors mixed. The child takes a certain number of cards from the pile (at first, you can start with 2-3 cards, gradually increasing their number) and lays them out in front of him with the colored side.

The task of the kid is to choose the number of caps of a certain color indicated on the cards from the box and put them next to the corresponding card.

You can play in different ways, but it’s more exciting and more fun, of course, for a while: set a timer for a certain time, gradually reducing the number of seconds / minutes with each game, or every time you mark the time for which the baby will cope with all the cards, watching how gradually its results improve.

You can even make a table of results and achievements, in which each time you mark the time spent on completing the task - then the baby's interest in the game will be ensured.

The educational game "Find the color and count" also contributes to the development of reaction speed and fine motor skills.

Enough interesting option ordinary graphic dictation.

Training. On a large cardboard sheet, a field with cells is drawn in accordance with the size of the covers used (we have 4 x 4 cm) - the larger the size of the playing field, the more opportunities for creating a variety of large figures. At that time I had an empty box from a medium-sized toy set, so I cut out two cardboard sheets from it, which I simply place horizontally or vertically side by side before starting the lesson.

Subsequently, you can lay out the figures simply on the table or on the floor on an imaginary cell field - this is more difficult, but coordination of movements also trains better.

Also, ready-made versions of graphic tasks are independently compiled or used in advance (can be found on the Internet), in which the direction of movement (up, down, left, right, diagonally) and the number of cells are prescribed.

Class. The adult dictates to the child in which direction and on how many cells the covers should be placed, and the child completes the task. The result is a given volumetric figure. It is better to start with simple tasks, gradually moving to more complex schemes.

Graphic dictation, including in this version, perfectly develops spatial orientation, and, of course, fine motor skills.

Training. For this lesson, you will need to make cards in advance with samples of interconnected simple geometric shapes (square, rectangle, circle, semicircle, oval, triangle, trapezoid, rhombus). For this, I used a ruler with curly stencils, but you can simply draw by hand.

The types of connection of figures can also be very diverse - a horizontal and vertical path, multidirectional paths with branches from the central figure to the right, left, up or down, symmetrical and asymmetric. The possibilities of patterns and patterns are limited only by the imagination of adults. You can periodically create all new variants of schematic combinations.

Class. The child takes the first card from the pile and proceeds to complete the task according to the model. It is advisable to lay out each figure in one color - then in the general scheme all the figures are clearly visible.

Important point- for a start, it’s better for a kid to practice just laying out geometric shapes from covers, so that completing tasks on cards is easier and more dynamic.

A child, collecting geometric chains from caps, remembers perfectly and constantly repeats.

For this game, you need to make a small square cardboard playing field (3 x 3 cells). The goal of the game is to be the first to place a row of three caps of the same color horizontally, vertically or diagonally. The rules are known and simple, but the execution is very interesting and unusual.

Tic-Tac-Toe-2 game

Another fun game option. You will need a larger cardboard field, on which the players take turns laying out the caps of the selected color. The game ends when all the cells on the field are occupied. Then the number of collected lines of 3 cells by each player is counted and the winner is determined.

Tired of the mess in the nursery? Tired of endlessly collecting toys for the child?

Well developed spatial and logical thinking.

Tasks for the account

This is a good visual aid for introducing a child to the mathematical operations of addition and subtraction.

Training. In advance, you need to make small cardboard cards of the same size (we have 3 x 10 cm) with mathematical tasks. The easiest option is to write numbers on them with a felt-tip pen or a pen, but you can make the cards brighter and more fun - for this I glued numbers-cuttings from magazines and brochures (I always keep such a selection of magazine numbers and letters in the pockets of a special photo album and are regularly updated ).

It is also necessary to decide in advance what will be used by the child to indicate mathematical operations: magnetic signs, any cards or the baby himself will lay out the signs from the covers.

1 + 1 = … , 2 + 3 = … , 4 + 5 = … ;
2 — 2 = … , 4 — 3 = …. , 5 — 1 = … .

After some time, you can start examples with a number range up to 20 - then numbers from 6 to 10 are already introduced into the game. Here are approximate mathematical tasks for this series:

6 + 3 = … , 7 + 9 = … , 10 + 10 = … ;
8 — 4 = … , 9 — 5 = …. , 10 — 2 = … .

It is advisable to cut out the cards for difficult examples from cardboard of a different color than the cards with simple tasks, so that it is easier to separate them if necessary. In the future, you can increase the complexity of game tasks incrementally if the child continues to show interest in this game.

How do we play? In front of the child are shuffled cards face down and a box with lids. He takes any card and proceeds to perform the mathematical operations indicated on it. To do this, lay out the indicated number of covers and put an appropriate sign between them.

Then, if this is an addition action, then the total number of caps is counted and, after the equal sign, the resulting amount is laid out with new caps from the box.

If there is a subtraction task on the card, then first you should explain to the baby that you need to remove as many covers from the first part as there are in the second part after the minus sign - then we will find out the correct answer and we will be able to lay out the resulting number of covers after the equals sign .

It is advisable to clearly pronounce each time and repeat each number on the card several times while the baby lays out the covers. This is great for training visual and auditory memory for numbers.

Tracks - traverses

Everything is simple here. On any paper sheet, caps are laid out at a small distance from each other in the form of a straight or winding continuous path. A game situation is set - for example, you need to help a bunny go along a difficult road to a hedgehog. A bunny figure is placed at the beginning of the path, and a hedgehog at the end of the path. The child picks up a pencil and begins to draw a continuous path around the covers, trying not to touch them.

It’s better to start simply with landscape sheets, later you can glue the edges of several sheets - then you get a large playing field and, accordingly, the tracks on them become longer and winding. On one sheet, you can draw tracks several times using pencils of different colors.

This activity contributes to the development of graphomotor skills.

Game with covers "My picture"

And finally, a wonderful exercise for imagination and fantasy, which requires nothing but lids of various colors.

An adult pronounces any word, and the child begins to lay it out, as he imagines it. The result is very interesting and unusual pictures.

In the photographs below, my son depicted the sun in the clouds, a robot, a forest picture with a Christmas tree, a mushroom, clouds and rain.

Here's the process for building a 2-story tank with a rest cabin:

And this is, for comparison, the resulting little man in a child (left) and an adult (right):

These are interesting and educational games with ordinary caps that you can play with children. A big plus in classes with caps is that they are constantly involved in the work.

The more lids there are in the child's play box, the wider the possibilities for their useful and exciting use. Therefore, I propose to continue collecting caps (and for those who have not yet collected, be sure to start), invent new games and play excitingly. By the way, in our toy library with my son, the box with lids is constantly replenished and takes its rightful place.

Did you like our cap games? And, perhaps, you know other interesting games and educational activities with this junk material? Please share in the comments! And don't forget to press the buttons social networks at the bottom of the article so other moms and dads can get to know her!

Entertaining games and creative activities can be carried out using very cheap or even junk material - we have repeatedly seen this on the pages of the Cheat Sheet for Parents website. Today I offer a selection of exercises with caps from plastic bottles and jars of baby food. Light, strong, multi-colored caps are interesting to use for the development of dexterity, fine motor skills, color perception and mental skills.

Game board with lids

There are several photographs of such developmental boards on the Web and, having examined one of them, we will find out what is required to create a manual. So,

1) base made of thin fiberboard 40x30 cm or larger;

2) a landscape background, for example, from an old calendar;

3) colored paper;

4) juice caps various types and size;

5) stickers depicting cartoon characters or clippings from children's magazines, newspapers;

6) scissors, glue, pencils and markers.

In my opinion, a great idea (alas, I do not know the author). It does not take up space in the apartment (you can fix it on the wall), it is original, it can be changed and supplemented when you get bored. Age category - from a year and older, just like fasteners and Velcro.

For the benefit of life

For home, cottage, personal plot lids in in large numbers will also fit. They decorate the paths and external walls buildings, lay out the edging of small flower beds. From the interconnected elements, floor mats and coverings for garden furniture are obtained.

A hard-working pensioner from Pavlodar became famous on the Internet. The 70-year-old grandfather, who works in public utilities, took a long time to collect covers and then laid out an amazing mosaic from them - simply by pressing the details into the ground. Now, according to the janitor himself, it is much cleaner on his site - passers-by do not raise their hand to litter there. 50,000 caps seems to be a lot, but in fact - one from every seventh inhabitant of the city.

And some manage to literally sheathe their houses with such unusual material. Many panels are based on traditional ornaments and motifs, as well as representatives of the animal world.

Other helpful exercises for kids with covers

We draw on the basis of a circle. We circle the lid and come up with who or what will come of it, develop the imagination.

Choose by color. Based on an image from balloons, on each ball there is an unfilled circle. It is required to match the covers by color in order to “patch” the balls and continue the fun.

We make a loto from metal lids. They are convenient because they have low sides and a flat bottom. We paste images of vegetables, animals - anything on a sheet of cardboard. And the same - on the lids from the inside. The kid takes the lid from the bag, turns it over, looks at the picture and looks for a place for it on the playing field. We develop mindfulness, ingenuity.

You can do tactile development and fill the caps with pieces of materials of various textures. For the rest - the same principle of loto: picked up, covered.

Colorful toys made from plastic bottle caps

A rectangle of colored cardboard, glue, paints, eyes - and faceless covers come to life, turning into a real zoo. Whoever you meet here: frogs, birds, fish, seals. And you can not create individual characters, but a whole plot composition.

Most likely, you won’t have a dozen plastic bottle caps right now. But you can start collecting them today by connecting friends and relatives. It is convenient to store savings in a three-liter jar or plastic box on the window, in a conspicuous place - so as not to forget to replenish your developing "reserve".
