What can be done from plastic bottles with your own hands for a summer cottage, garden and vegetable garden. Here are some useful crafts you can make from plastic bottles Do-it-yourself plastic crafts

In our time, there is no shortage of goods for everyday and long-term consumption. Free sale has everything you need to ensure normal material living conditions - from personal hygiene items to dishwashers. But it would be wrong to think that under these conditions, to make useful homemade products from improvised and even waste materials- not a very serious occupation.

From plastic bottles - useful homemade products

Firstly, there are situations when there is no time (and sometimes money) to go to the store for an urgently needed thing, and this thing is not difficult to make yourself from the available material. Secondly, and more importantly, making handicrafts is a good occasion and an excellent means of introducing children to handicrafts. Making useful homemade products together with adults, they are accustomed to work from an early age.

It has long been fashionable to make all kinds of crafts from plastic bottles. They are easy to process, and products from them have a good presentation. Here, using three examples, we will tell you how such home-made products from plastic bottles are created.

plastic whisk

Materials and tools:
- 6 two-liter plastic bottles;

- a piece of wire;
- small nails;
- scissors;
- stationery knife;
- awl;
- a hammer.

Sequence of operations

Remove labels from all bottles. Having chosen any bottle, cut off the bottom with a clerical knife.

With scissors, we cut this bottle into strips of 5 mm wide, not reaching 10 centimeters to the neck.

Now cut off the neck. We perform these operations (cutting off the bottom, cutting strips, cutting off the neck) with four more bottles, but we do not cut off the neck of the last one.

On this last one (with a neck), we put on the remaining four prepared bottles one by one. We get the working part of the broom.

We cut off the upper part of the sixth bottle and put it on this working part of the broom.

We pierce two through holes in our structure with an awl, pass the wire into them and tighten it.

We insert the stalk into the neck and nail a broom to it with nails.

The plastic whisk is ready.

Plastic vase for flowers

Materials and tools:
- plastic bottle;
- scissors.

Sequence of operations

We cut off its upper part from the bottle (it is not needed).

We measure the future neck of the vase and cut it into thin strips.

We bend all the strips outward.

We turn the bottle over, put it on a flat hard surface and press it - in order to ensure smooth edges of the neck of the future vase.

We take any strip and bend it over three adjacent strips in a row.

With the next strip (along the way) we perform the same operation. And so we go through the whole circle to the last strip inclusive.

The plastic vase for flowers is ready. If you do not peer too closely, it seems that this is a vase made of crystal or thin glass.

Such a vase would be quite appropriate, for example, in a summer house at a recreation center.

plastic beads

Materials and tools:
- several plastic bottles;
- scissors;
- stationery knife;
- metal knitting needles;
- a thermal tool (you can use a thermal gun);
– heat-resistant surface;
- paints for plastic or acrylic paints(can be painted with a cosmetic sponge);
- drill;
- drill 1/16;
- decorative buttons;
- threads for embroidery;
– connecting rings (open);
- pliers.

Sequence of operations

From the lower parts of the bottles we cut out flowers with petals, as in the photo (top row).

We put the flowers on a heat-resistant surface and, pressing their middles with a knitting needle to the surface, we process the petals with a thermal tool to give them the desired shape.

Under the influence of heat, the edges of the petals curl up. After reaching the desired shape, we remove the heat.

We paint on both sides of all the flowers. At the same time, we put more paint on the bottom side - it will be more matte. Let the paint dry.

Cut out oval-shaped leaves from the walls of the bottles. We paint them in the same way as flowers. We drill holes at the ends of each leaf (for connection in a necklace).

We make white daisies from bottle caps: with a clerical knife, cut the edges of the caps into strips of the same width.

Using a heat tool and a knitting needle, we give the chamomile petals the desired shape.

Surely the inventors of plastic bottles had no idea how widely people would use them. Today, craftsmen have learned how to make a huge number of useful things from plastic bottles with their own hands, from toys to a boat or a house. We will confine ourselves to considering crafts that will help you beautifully decorate your site, garden or vegetable garden.

Unusual qualities of homemade plastic bottles

Plastic bottles are extremely popular among lovers of garden crafts. The explanation for this is simple: on the one hand, the material is easily accessible, on the other hand, it is easy to work with. No wonder there are a huge number of women among the admirers of the "genre".

Note that plastic containers decompose as garbage for an extremely long time, but serve endlessly in the rain and sun in the yard. It's nice to make something funny and useful out of what was supposed to be thrown away. The presence of numerous interesting examples further provokes creative and inventive souls to create something better and more unusual.

Plastic bottles have many colors, crafts from them can be painted and enriched with a variety of decorative elements, which most often is also an improvised material. The use of both small and large empty bottles from 0.5 to 5 liters allows you to create a variety of combinations of figures. The author of the text sets himself the task of offering you the most interesting examples and acquainting you with the methods of working with plastic bottles with your own hands using several descriptions as an example. Thus, you can both pick up interesting and beautiful homemade products for repetition, and learn how to implement your own ideas.

Please note: it is very important to choose a place for the figurine in the garden where it will harmoniously fit into the surroundings.

Bright crafts and decorations from bottles in the yard

Such poppies always bloom, and they won’t be fined for it.

The brightest decoration in the yard is the flowers. From plastic containers, they turn out great and a considerable number of examples have already been invented. Do you want to build a tree from bottles with your own hands? It's possible!

Winter and summer one color

Probably the easiest plastic bottle crafts to make are mushrooms. Do-it-yourself mushrooms are made extremely simply and very similar to real ones. The mushroom cap is the bottom of the bottle, its stem is the top of the container. You can color them as you like. It is most convenient to fasten both parts with a self-tapping screw.

To get the characteristic protrusions on the leg of the fly agaric, you can use two bottle necks to make it. Grass can be created from the side of a green container.

In this lake, the water never freezes, and swans always live

The blue lake in the yard is most realistic to arrange from plastic bottles. Its surface, even in the absence of wind, is covered with characteristic ripples. Making such a pond is easy. You need to paint at least 100 bottles of blue paint from the inside, and then bury them in the ground with their neck down. Flowers and flowers are suitable for decorating a pond.

Funny figurines of animals and people for the garden from plastic containers

We are all happy to decorate our garden with crafts of animals, gnomes and people. A considerable number of various figures for the site have already been invented. Interestingly, even when copied, each creative invention has features brought by the author. Nothing prevents you from leaving your “own mark on history” by inventing an original gnome.

All sorts of different animals in the yard and garden

Here are several options for turtle designs. All of them are made from the bottom of a bottle, which resembles the shell of an amphibian. Using paint and other decorative elements, you can create a turtle with a "own face".

The caterpillar in the garden and the garden is quite appropriate. In this performance, she will not turn into a butterfly, but she will not be able to harm either. You can make an insect from the bottoms, lids and bodies of plastic containers. The easiest way is to sequentially collect the top parts of bright green bottles. Inside there may be a wire that is bent on both sides of the figure.

Funny gnomes for the courtyard can be made from a variety of containers. Perhaps, it is impossible to do without the use of paints. A special place in the performance of the gnomes is occupied by decor: let your imagination run wild and try to use everything that comes up. This is exactly the case when you can compose something unusual and your own.

The land with the help of horses in the country has not been plowed for a long time, but the presence of their figures is appropriate and desirable. The body of the horse is most often made from five-liter eggplants, and the legs, neck and muzzle are made from smaller containers. The horse is very similar to the donkey, so when making it, you can use the donkey assembly instructions that follow.

Pigs in the country from plastic bottles - a classic of the genre. Of course, a 5-liter container is best for making a well-fed pig. It is often used as a planter. The techniques for assembling a pig are exactly the same as for a donkey. A description of this follows.

A bright spot on the site will be a fox or bear figurine covered with orange paint. We have already understood that large five-liter bottles are well suited for both the already mentioned and other animal crafts. Here again, fantasy and scenery are required. Assembly - all the same donkey making guide that follows.

It can be said with absolute certainty that it will be possible to build any animal from plastic bottles. Pick your favorite and get creative!

Here are a few more examples of the use of plastic containers for the manufacture of animals. Frogs, hares, bears and sheep - everything is like in a real forest.

Hunting trophy from a plastic container

If you are unable to hunt even with a camera, you can hang a hunting trophy from a plastic canister in your country house. In addition to the container for making a horned head, you will additionally need 30 pieces of multi-colored plugs, a piece of wire with a diameter of 3 mm and self-tapping screws.

Hunting trophy assembly instructions:

Funny donkey from plastic bottles for your garden

As follows from the pictures, donkeys are slightly different. I came up with my own collective image and prepared a master class for you:

  1. To assemble the craft, we prepared 8 bottles. Subsequently, another one was required, Brown, for making animal mane.
  2. At a 5-liter eggplant, the neck was cut off and the caps of the foot bottles were screwed on with screws. By turning the screws in different places, you can adjust the inclination of the plugs. It is necessary to use at least three self-tapping screws to fix one cover.

  3. At the container for the head, cut off the neck.
  4. Cut out a blank for the donkey's neck from the middle part of the bottle. In side view, it has the shape of a trapezoid. On the sides of the part, we leave two ledges for which the neck will be attached.
  5. We fasten the neck to the head with two self-tapping screws. They will be inside the body.
  6. We bend the neck to the head and fasten the parts with another screw.

  7. Now we fasten the neck to the body with two self-tapping screws. They will be inside the body.
  8. We turn the neck to the body and fasten it with two more screws from the bottom.

  9. This is what the frame of the donkey looks like at this stage.
  10. Cut out the blanks of the ears from the green bottle. For one ear, you need a quarter of a bottle cut along. In the lower part of the ear, we cut the protrusions for attaching to the head, in accordance with the image.
  11. We bend the sidewalls of the protrusions so that they pass into the narrow slots prepared in the head.

  12. We mark the slits on the head with a marker in accordance with the size of the ear. Their size should correspond to the width of the protrusions on the ear with curved edges. We make cuts.
  13. We insert the protrusions of the ear into the slots on the head of the donkey. After installation, the bent parts will straighten out and securely hold the ear on the body of the animal's head.

  14. This is what our ward looks like with ears. Paint it with gray paint and leave to dry overnight.
  15. Cooking a donkey's mane from a brown bottle. The length of the workpiece corresponds to the length of the neck. To attach the part to the neck, cut out three protrusions in accordance with the image. We imitate hair by cutting through the part with a step of 2mm and not reaching its edge by 15mm.
  16. We bend the edges of the protrusions for subsequent fixation to the neck. We make two blanks for the mane.

  17. On the neck we mark three slots with a marker in accordance with the location of the protrusions on the details of the mane. Their width should correspond to the size of the protrusions on the details of the mane with curved edges. We make cuts.
  18. We bend the edges of the protrusions on the details of the mane and sequentially insert them into the slots on the neck of the animal.

  19. It is convenient to make a harness and a donkey's tail from a garden border tape. From it it is necessary to cut off a strip 15 mm wide and fasten the crafts to the body with five self-tapping screws. The eyes will fit from an old toy. We attach them with double-sided tape. We paint the muzzle and ears from the inside with white paint. Nostrils and mouth are done with red and black paints.

  20. You can harness! We use a plastic box as a cart. The wheels are good from a used children's toy. They can be mounted on axles from welding electrodes. Shafts are made from thin branches. For good stability in windy weather, sand should be poured into the bottles of the donkey's legs.

Interesting examples of creations from containers for household purposes

As you can see, quite monumental structures can be built from plastic bottles. However, many of us, having appreciated the scale of the work and the large number of bottles, are ready to say the words from the old joke: "I won't drink that much." It is up to you to decide which homemade products are good, and we offer a master class on making a prosaic broom from plastic bottles with your own hands.

Step by step guide:

Collecting crafts, we set the task of using fewer bottles and getting a panicle of sufficient rigidity. However, it was not wide enough. To solve this problem, the entire length of the bottle should be used for blanks.

In this case, containers will need twice as much. In this embodiment, to ensure sufficient rigidity of the broom, it will have to be tied with twine, as in the photo.

Together with the broom, we made a dustpan from a plastic container. To implement such an idea, it is better to use a thick plastic canister. We cut out the part in accordance with the image, put it on wooden handle and get the scoop. The scoop does not dig the earth, but it is suitable for sand and cement and works in tandem with our broom!

Every day we throw away various packaging, plastic bottles, plastic bags, cans etc. And probably few people thought that this "garbage" could gain new life, becoming the material for original crafts which you can do by hand. Today you will learn about crafts from plastic bottles.

Curtains with delicate petals from ordinary plastic waste and bottles

Eco-designer from the UK Michelle Brand creates decorative lamps, chandeliers, garlands, curtains, curtains from ordinary plastic waste. From the bottom of the bottles, he carefully cuts out delicate flowers, the edges of which are melted over a small fire. Then it is strung on a thin fishing line, like beads, or sewn together. Brilliant and simple!

Do you also want such unusual curtains? The pattern from the bottoms of the bottles is best laid out on a horizontal surface, with a felt-tip pen we put down points at the points of contact horizontally and vertically.

1 option. We burn the holes with an awl or a needle, and then we string them on a beading line or a thin fishing line - first all the vertical stripes, then we connect them through the holes made horizontally. You can also glue the bottoms at the points of contact with hot glue. The structure is more rigid.
Option 2. We connect the bottoms through the burnt holes, passing through them small paper clips or similar for a stapler.
Of course, you will have to try to bend them with your fingers or pliers.

Furniture from plastic bottles

If you realize that garden rattles, garden dolls and even palm trees have outgrown your plastic art, move on to making more practical products. For example, furniture - light, durable and original.

On the way to the realization of the idea, only one obstacle can arise - the lack of a sufficient number of identical bottles. But it doesn't matter: there is not enough for a sofa - we make an ottoman. The costs are scanty: you only need a clerical knife and adhesive tape.

The most attractive thing about plastic furniture is that all of it is made using a single technology. The supporting frame of any item consists of blocks, which contain 16 two-liter bottles. The sequence of manufacturing such a block is clearly shown in the figure. From important nuances I will note two:

1. Compliance with the dimensions of parts B and C;
2. Rigid connection of "spare parts" with adhesive tape.

We make backs, armrests and other elements from the same “matryoshka” bottles, connecting them in the desired configuration.

If you use such furniture outdoors, just cover it with something soft and decorate it with spray paint. For indoor use, you can sew a cover with stuffing, etc. In general, if there is imagination, the result will satisfy even the most sophisticated aesthetes.

Material consumption:
Single bed - 750 bottles Double sofa - 400-500 bottles Armchair - 250 bottles

Pouffe from plastic bottles

From 16 plastic bottles with closed lids it is easy to make something like an ottoman (dacha option). We turn them upside down and fasten them with adhesive tape, first two at a time, and then pairs with each other. From above we fix the cardboard with adhesive tape, then the foam rubber, so that it is soft to sit. It remains only to dress our “throne” in a cover sewn from old clothes.

"Kangaroo"

Tired of looking for a place to charge your phone? From now on, it will be right ... on the outlet. We cut out from a plastic bottle from a drink or shampoo at once both a pocket for a mobile phone and an “eye” for hanging on a “fork”. Fortunately, plastic does not transmit electricity.

Service from plastic bottles

This plastic cassette holder can have a lot of applications:
- country kitchen appliances (spices, knives, spoons, napkins, vase);
- travel bag for storing ornamental small things, radio components, screws, nuts, washers, seeds, buttons, etc.;
- service for outings. The design is so simple that the production will take a couple of hours on the strength.

You will need: a plastic circle (a piece of PVC board), 4 plastic bottles from kefir and 1 each from beer and water, 7 caps with a threaded neck, a glue gun, an aluminum rod, 2 pieces of a plastic tube.

We cut off the lower parts (cups) and threaded necks at the very base from the bottles. And from the board - circle 1 (see fig.). Draw a circle 2 of smaller diameter inside it. We put six crosses 3 on it at regular intervals and one in the center 4. In the marked places we glue the cut-off necks with threads, and corks to the bottom of the glasses in order to screw our container to the base with their help. We drill two holes 5 for the handle along the edges of the circle. Pour glue into plastic tubes from one end to a depth of 10 mm. After drying, we fasten the tubes with self-tapping screws from the bottom side of the circle. In the same place we glue four legs - bottle caps. We bend the wire.

Pour 15 mm glue into the tubes and insert a wire handle.

Now the advantages of the set become obvious: compact, with "utensils" that do not fall, do not break or get lost.

Drain the water! Or a do-it-yourself drain

2-liter bottles perfectly replace galvanized sheet if you need to make a temporary gutter with a drain for a country house.

Separating the bottom and curly neck, cut the remaining cylinder in half lengthwise. By overlapping the halves and fixing the connection with a furniture stapler, we form a gutter. From the same bottles without a bottom, but with a part of a cone-shaped neck, we make up a drain pipe. At the junction of the gutter and pipe, we fix a funnel made from a 5-liter bottle.

Broom from plastic bottles

It is generally accepted that plastic bottles are rubbish. But everything will turn out exactly the opposite, if you make just such a panicle.

You will need: two-liter plastic bottles - 10 pcs., broom handle, wire, hammer, small carnations, knife, awl.

We cut off the bottom of 9 bottles, then cut them into strips 0.5-1 cm wide, not reaching the neck 6-8 cm. We cut off the neck of 8 bottles, and put all these blanks in turn on the 9th. From the 10th bottle we cut off the top and put it on our design. With an awl, we pierce through all the layers of plastic in 2 places, thread the wire into the holes, twisting the ends. We insert the stalk into the neck, nail with carnations.

Pasta - in a "tube"

A pair of 2-liter plastic bottles makes a convenient container for storing spaghetti or other long pasta. In one I cut off the neck (before the narrowing begins), in the second - the bottom (7-8 cm). I insert a pack of spaghetti into a bottle without a neck, close the lid from the bottom.

creative slippers

Required: a plastic bottle, strong threads, a piece of linoleum (the soles of old shoes or a rubber mat are suitable), a hole punch, a hook, a dropper, an awl, beads, glue, scissors.

We start by cutting out the sole from linoleum. Next, we take a plastic bottle and cut 2 strips 1.5 cm wide and 15 cm long. We punch holes in the center with a hole punch and round the corners with scissors. Crochet along the edge we tie the sole (photo 1). We tie the strips in the same way as the sole, fastening them at an angle of 90 degrees, (photo 2). We connect all the details, with a crusty step we tie the sole and strips.

To make holders for the upper and lower parts of the parts, we thread a thread through the bead, then we knit a chain of air loops, take a piece of the dropper and stretch the loops (photo 3). We fix the "holder" in the place where the first and second fingers, tying the threads, glue them to the sole. (photo 4). For beauty, we decorate slippers with beads.

The trend of rational use of household waste in recent times is becoming more and more popular, especially for plastic containers. From plastic bottles, you can do with your own hands almost the entire country interior and more. One of the main advantages of this material is long term service, besides it is very elastic. Do not forget that plastic bottles - available material, which is always available for every owner or hostess.

Cheap and cheerful - we make flower beds from bottles

Plastic containers are ideal for as they have a great advantage over wood and even metal. wooden fencing on flower beds or flower beds eventually dry out or rot under the influence of moisture and the sun. Even metal curbs are susceptible to corrosion and require periodic maintenance, such as regular painting.

But what about plastic? It does not lose its shape and does not collapse for a long time. This means that such a flower bed will last more than one season and even more than one year, moreover, it does not require any maintenance at all. Even if a “breakage” occurs, the desired “element” can always be found in the pantry and easily replaced without resorting to long tedious shopping trips in order to find a suitable fragment.

So, what can you do with plastic bottles with your own hands?

bottle borders

If you need to protect the flower garden, plastic containers of different sizes will do just fine. This will not only limit the space and prevent the growth of perennials, but will also retain moisture and prevent the emergence of weeds.

The shape and size of the flower bed depend only on the imagination of the summer resident: it can be either equilateral or in the form of some animal or plant. Also, bottles can be divided into segments of the flower bed itself.

Even a child can build a bottle border (with the help of adults, of course):

  1. First of all, on the site, you should draw with a sharp object or pour the contours of the flower bed with sand.
  2. Release the bottles from the labels, wash them, pour sand into them and tighten the cap. If this is not available, ordinary earth or water can be used. This is necessary for stability, since empty containers will quickly fall out of the fence.
  3. Dig a groove along the outlined contour so that the bottle can be deepened by about 1/3 into it.
  4. Place the filled bottles in the groove with the neck down, as close as possible to each other, and cover with earth.

For a visual effect, you can use bottles of different colors of plastic (green, white, brown).

Some summer residents do without digging in bottles. For example, bottles without a bottom are simply inserted into each other, forming a circle. The finished design can be "put on" on or taken in the ring trunk circle tree. To fix the curb, it must be firmly pressed to the ground with arcs.

Multi-tiered flower bed

If you really want to have a flower garden, and there is a catastrophic lack of space, you can do it yourself from plastic bottles. The principle is the same as for the construction of the curb, only after laying the first tier, it is necessary to fill it with nutrient soil, and only then lay out the next floor.

When planting plants for the lower tier, it is better to choose moisture-loving specimens, since water will flow down when watering.

Mini flower beds

Beautiful and useful crafts for giving can be made from 5-liter plastic bottles. They will serve as miniature and cute flower beds, for example, in the shape of everyone's favorite piglets.

Group compositions in the form of trains with flowers look no less impressive.

And if you sow lawn grass instead of flowers, a large bottle turns into a cute hedgehog with green spines. It remains only to attach the eyes and nose.

Those who are not afraid of small rodents will like cute mice from small (liter) bottles. They are good for planting petunias.

Flower pots and flowerpots

With a little imagination, plastic bottles can be easily transformed into small decorative pots for flowers or spicy greens. You can make them even or cut them into a marker in the shape of a muzzle. Such flowerpots will look great not only in the garden gazebo, but also in the house on the windowsill.

But if you put a fabric cover on a cropped bottle and attach ropes, you will get elegant planters for a summer veranda.

The easiest way to make hanging pots is to cut out fragments of the walls on both sides of the bottle, and fasten a string for hanging under the neck. In such flowerpots, compact undersized plants can be planted.

Making a beautiful garden path

Tracks made of plastic containers are especially popular with summer residents. The strength of such a path depends on the laying method and what part of the plastic container serves as a building material:

Paths made of plastic bottles become very slippery in winter.

Fun playground - decorate a place for children's games

Caring parents always strive to give their children a place to play in the country, where children can pass the time while adults are busy in the garden. Of course, it should be not only safe, but also colorful to please the kids. With the help of plastic bottles, it is easy to decorate the playground by making a variety of plants and animals. Ordinary paint will help to give them brightness.

In the shade under a palm tree

What is a playground without a sandbox? And where there is sand, a palm tree must “grow”. For a Tropican, you will need green and brown bottles for the trunk and leaves, respectively.

Before proceeding with the assembly, you need to take care of a solid base. For example, fix a metal pin in a concrete screed, and it should be quite long so that the tree turns out high, and children can walk freely under it.

When the base is fixed, you can start "growing" palm trees:

  • cut off half of the bottle (the top with the neck is not needed) and form a jagged edge;
  • make a hole in the center of the bottom, string the blanks onto the base pin, while bending the teeth to the side for a more natural look;
  • cut off the bottom of the green bottle and make straight cuts along the entire contour to the place where the wall goes into the neck (if desired, the branches can be made curly - cut into 4 parts and place cloves on each);
  • string fragments of the branch on the base;
  • firmly attach the finished branches to the top of the stem (by welding or construction harnesses).

If after assembling the palm tree there are still many green bottles left, you can make a small (or large) Christmas tree from them. Remove the bottom from the bottle and cut it into long narrow strips right up to the very neck. Trim the edges of the strips to look like thorns. Thread the leaves onto the base.

Such a Christmas tree will look great on the site in winter, especially under snow, and will also help out on New Year's Eve those who, in a hurry, did not have time to buy a living tree.

Guests from a fairy tale - funny animals

And of course, there must be toys. Often children take their old pets outside. With the help of plastic bottles, you can easily diversify the "zoo", creating real masterpieces - from the fabulous Frog Princess and the Golden Fish to modern cartoon characters.

Take at least a handsome cat, painted in black and white paint. And you can use brown beer bottles, and you get a brown cat, also beautiful.

From the two bottoms of the bottle, form a head (connect them), while the bends on the bottoms will really look like a real head. On one of them, draw eyes, eyebrows and mustaches with white paint, and a neat tongue with red paint. From above, insert cut out small ears. For the body, string the same short cut bottoms onto the base, close the body last. Melt the edges of the bottoms. Walk along the melted contour of the ears and fragments of the body with white paint, and on the front bottom make a white speck on the breast.

Glue the head and legs - the upper parts from bottles with an elongated neck will come in handy for them. Cut them off to the point where the bottle expands, cut the edges with sharp teeth and build legs from 4-5 parts, putting them on the base wire. Screw the corks onto the upper necks, glue the paws to the body with them. For the tail, take a long wire and string the narrowest parts of the neck onto it, but without plugs. To make the tail fluffy, cut the edges into thin strips.

Beautiful animals are also obtained from large 5-liter containers. With the right combination of bottles of different sizes and with the help of bright coloring, you can place a zebra, a horse, a cow, a donkey and even a giraffe on the site.

Flowers for my daughter

In the sandbox, children not only sculpt Easter cakes. Little girls are very fond of flowers and often pick dandelions on the lawn (or in their mother's flower bed) to plant in their sand garden. But you can make a whole greenhouse of flowers out of bottles, while the girls will be happy to take part in the manufacture of the most simple options. Daisies, cornflowers and tulips will decorate the sandbox, especially since young flower growers will be able to repeatedly "transplant" them from garden to garden without harm to plants and mother's nerves.

For flowers you will need:

  • stem wire;
  • flat parts of bottles for cutting leaves from them;
  • necks or bottoms for the most inflorescences;
  • dye.

More complex options can be done by adults. Plastic roses or poppies will decorate not only the playground, but also flower beds.

plastic design for garden

From plastic bottles have an extensive scope. So, if small animals and birds look appropriate in flower beds and playgrounds, then larger-scale animals can be placed in the garden, among trees and shrubs. They will give the garden a unique look and enliven it.

Amazing Garden Sculptures

Representatives of large birds made of plastic look almost alive. With the help of multi-colored paints, you can achieve a stunning realistic effect. To make them, you just need to master the technique of cutting feathers from the sides of bottles and prepare a frame on which they will be fixed.

Very impressive in the garden will look:

In the garden, you can place sculptures not only of birds, but also animals of a large enough size so that they do not get lost against the backdrop of tall trees.

Among the greenery, a bright spot will be a white sheep, which is quite easy to make if there are bottles of 2 liters and several 1.5 liters lying around in the pantry:

  1. Cut off the necks of two 2 liter bottles and put them on top of each other - this will be an elongated head. From the third bottle, cut out long ears, roll them up a little with a tube and attach to the head in the appropriate places with wire (or glue). You can draw eyes or glue two plugs.
  2. For the body, insert the whole neck into the bottle cut off from the top. Make 3 more such blanks and attach them to the first on the sides and top, thus giving the lamb the desired “waist” volume.

Bird care

Plastic bottles can be used not only for decorative purposes, but also for the benefit of the garden. After all, it is always inhabited by the summer resident's little helpers - a variety of birds that collect pests from trees. In warm summer time they have something to eat, but in winter it becomes more difficult to get food. That's when the feeders hung around the garden come in handy. And if you involve children in the process, you get a double benefit: for children - an interesting activity and pleasure, and for birds - a cozy house with grains.

The simplest can be made from large 5 liter plastic bottles by simply cutting large arch-shaped holes on both sides.

So that the birds do not injure their paws on the sharp edges of the bottle, they must first be melted or pasted over with electrical tape.

For those who rarely visit their summer cottage in winter, a feeder that fills automatically is useful.

You can make it from a bottle and two wooden spoons:

  • make two holes in the bottle opposite each other, while the second should be slightly lower;
  • unfold the bottle and repeat the procedure on the reverse side;
  • insert spoons into the holes crosswise.

After the bottle is filled with food, it will be poured through the holes into the spoons as they are empty.

A cozy place to relax from improvised means

Not only birds, but also the owners themselves should have their own secluded corner among the greenery, where on warm summer evenings you can enjoy a cup of tea, inhaling the aromas of nature. Many prefer to put in the garden. They are very beautiful, you can’t argue with that, but they require certain financial investments. But from plastic it is cheap and cheerful to make not only a recreation area, but also to completely equip it.

Alcove? Easily!

Arbor - one of the largest crafts for giving from plastic bottles. But a plastic gazebo has two big advantages:

  • it is easy to assemble;
  • will last more than one year without damage to the material.

Perhaps the only drawback of the building is the presence a large number bottles that need to be stored somewhere during the collection process.

What the gazebo will look like depends only on the desire of the owner, and, accordingly, on the availability of “building materials”:

Practical curtains in the gazebo

In summer pavilions there is a lot of fresh air, but, unfortunately, also dust. Ordinary tulle requires frequent washing, while a plastic curtain does not collect so much dust, and you can “wash” it without even removing it - just pour it over with water from a hose (of course, if such a curtain does not hang in the house).

For dreamy and romantic hostesses, delicate curtains made from the bottoms of plastic bottles, strung on a base, are suitable.

Energetic people who love bright colors are more suitable for cork curtains, assembled according to the same principle.

garden furniture

A table, ottoman, armchair and even a sofa in the gazebo can also be made from plastic bottles. The old one from the house is also quite suitable for outdoor recreation, but, like the curtains, it will eventually become a collection of dust. In addition, take out wooden sofa it is quite difficult to go outside, because such furniture is rather bulky and heavy. But rearranging a plastic chair is not difficult.

It is not difficult to assemble furniture - you just need to put the bottles tightly and connect them with adhesive tape, giving the desired shape. For ottomans, knit or sew a cape - from the outside, no one will guess what they are actually made of.

Leatherette covers are more suitable for a sofa.

Unbreakable garden chandeliers

If you plan an evening tea party, you should definitely spend it in the gazebo. To ennoble the light bulb, you can cut the bottle into two parts and make a simple ceiling lamp from the upper half and paint it or paste over it with colored thread.

In plastic chandeliers, it is better to use economical light bulbs - they do not heat up so much and will not melt the material.

In more complex versions, chandeliers are assembled from fragments of leaves or flowers cut from multi-colored bottles.

Garden supplies for gardening

In order for the summer cottage to look beautiful and tidy, it is necessary to take care of it all the time - weed weeds, collect fallen leaves and small debris. This will require tools. Of course, it will not work to make a chopper or a rake out of plastic, but simpler specimens are quite possible.

Craftsmen have long known how to use plastic bottles for their own benefit and savings for the family budget. After all, if the scoop suddenly breaks, you no longer have to run to the store for a new one. From household waste that is in every home, you get a lot of useful things at no extra cost:

garden care

From plastic bottles you can make useful things not only for the garden, but also for the garden. These can be both small crafts in the form of, and larger structures such as greenhouses.

Greenhouses for seedlings

Most summer residents grow seedlings of garden crops on their own. Some do it in apartment conditions, but better seedlings are obtained from greenhouses - there is enough heat and light.

You can no longer talk about the cost, but as for durability, plastic bottles will certainly last longer than film shelters or glass structures.

To increase the service life of plastic bottle greenhouses, it is advisable to put them on the foundation, and use a metal profile for the frame.

The simplest version of the greenhouse involves the construction of walls from whole bottles that are put on top of each other.

It will take a little longer to tinker with the greenhouse of the plates, but it will turn out to be warmer. In this case, even parts must be cut out of the bottles and fastened (sewn) together in the form of a canvas. From the finished canvases, mount a greenhouse.

Watering "systems"

For gardeners, watering is at least topical issue than having a greenhouse. Instead of ready-made watering systems in the garden, you can use. They must either be suspended above the bush, having previously made holes in the lower part, or dug into the ground.

In addition, the bottle makes a good sprinkler - you just need to make small holes in it and connect it to a watering hose.

Getting rid of pests

A plastic bottle repeller will help drive the summer resident's worst enemy from the site -. He not only plows the beds, digging his tunnels, but also damages in the course of action root system plants, depriving gardeners of the future harvest.

If you cut the side walls in the bottle, bend them and put the container on a steel bar, with gusts of wind the bottle will spin and make noise. The sound through the rod will go into the ground and deprive the mole of the desire to manage in this noisy place.

The list of what you can make from a plastic bottle with your own hands is quite long. These are just a few crafts that make life easier for summer residents. Agree - it is better to get the maximum benefit from bottles than to pollute environment. Take care of nature and work with pleasure!
