More and more people are facing the problem Bad quality tap water. And if in cities where there is a central water supply, it is still at least somehow cleaned (although not ideally), then in private territories there is none of this. In mountainous areas, with many springs, the situation is better, but in general, water from there often requires high-quality filtration. Nowadays, many different installations for such cleaning have appeared on store shelves. And in this huge assortment of types, firms and models, it is not surprising to get confused. Today we will try to figure out how to choose water filters in private house and which of the devices is necessary in a given situation.

A water filter for the kitchen is a must these days.

It has long become not a luxury, but a necessity. In addition, now a person with any income can purchase such equipment. After all, manufacturers offer both quite expensive models and budget ones, such as filter jugs, which can be bought for 500-700 rubles. Of course, more expensive filters connected to the water supply system provide better cleaning, but there are nuances here too. After all, if you choose the wrong cartridges, then the quality of the water will not change.

Important information! Before purchasing a treatment plant, it is necessary to call specialists for the production of an examination of water. Only she can determine which elements in the water are overabundant. It is on the basis of the results of such an examination that a conclusion is made about the need to purchase filter elements with certain properties.

Household filters for water purification can be placed under the sink or on the wall, located directly on the inlet pipe to the living room, or even stand separately, without mounting to the mains. It all depends on the quality of the necessary filtration and the financial capabilities of the person. It should be understood that the purification of drinking water is very important. The health of everyone living in the house depends on this. This means that the need for filtering should never be underestimated.

What is the reason for the need for a water purification system in private homes

The main problem of the private sector is that wells, like some wells, make it possible to draw groundwater. And human waste can freely get into them. For example, not far from a well or well there is a small garbage dump. It rains and everything that is washed out of the waste ends up in the soil. Water with harmful impurities comes through the soil to the first solid layer of the earth and rushes to the well or well. Of course, the soil itself filters it a little, but such natural cleansing does not last forever. Over time, the soil itself, on the way to the water going to the well, is saturated harmful substances. As a result, even pure water that has passed through it is saturated with pathogens.

Modern home water filtration systems are pretty good at dealing with these kinds of problems. At the same time, along the way, cleaning the liquid from excess iron, chlorine and other impurities, and even softening too hard. Speaking of pitcher filters, which are budget option, then they can be placed anywhere, they do not require a specific installation location. Of course, such a device will only be enough for one or two people. If there are more residents, then it is worth taking care to purchase a flow or storage water filter for the house. This acquisition may well provide several people with clean drinking water.

Even if the quality of water from a well or well suits you, it is not always suitable for dishwashers or washing machines. Indeed, in any case, although rarely, some particles can get into it. For such cases, water treatment in a private house can be carried out using main coarse filters. They cost a little, but they also hold only fairly large fractions.

About the types of water filters in Vacation home we'll talk more, but for now let's figure out how things are with this in the apartments of Russian cities.

Do I need water purification systems in apartments with centralized water supply?

This question can only be answered unequivocally - it is necessary. With the rapid pace of construction apartment buildings, as well as the lack of modernization of treatment facilities, the quality of tap water in our time leaves much to be desired. Water in the system requires purification from excess iron, chlorine, limestone, and sometimes even hydrogen sulfide and other rather harmful substances. Do not forget about the old age of communications. After all, rust from pipes also does not add purity. It is for these purposes that coarse and fine filters are installed in apartments.

Water purification systems for an apartment can be just as diverse, which means that choosing the right one in one case or another can be quite difficult. In this case, many parameters must be taken into account. Water filters in an apartment, as well as in a private house, can be classified according to various criteria, namely:

  • By installation method– accumulative, main or flowing;
  • According to the degree of purification- it can be coarse or fine;
  • According to the fundamental structure- cartridge or disk.

Also, filters for water purification in apartments and private houses are distinguished by the method of purification, of which there can be a lot. Today we will definitely analyze each of them in detail, but first things first.

To begin with, let's try to figure out the classification of water filtration systems for apartments and private houses.

How water filters are arranged and their classification

First you need to understand how water filters work. Depending on the number of degrees of purification, the water in them passes through the elements (there can be from 1 to 5), which trap certain contaminants or saturate it with the necessary substances. Most often, with a five-stage purification, the water to the last of the elements is almost distilled. At the last stage, it is saturated with salts and minerals in the amount necessary for a person.

If a we are talking about jugs, then such a household filter for purifying tap water combines all stages in one cartridge. At the same time, it is very important to choose a filter element with exactly the qualities that are needed. Otherwise, the water will not be purified as it passes through the cartridge.

Important information! Filters for water purification from wells must necessarily be equipped with coarse cleaning elements. If such water is poured directly into the same filter jug, then its cartridge will instantly become clogged with larger particles that will prevent it from performing its functions.

Classification of water filters by installation method

Filters for water purification can be installed on the inlet pipe to the dwelling (main) or directly under the sink (flow or accumulative). At its core, a flow filter differs from a storage filter only in the presence of a special tank in the latter. Such devices allow you to use purified water for some time even if its supply to the system is stopped.

Now our main task will be to understand what kind of work each of these devices does, what difficulties can arise when installing such equipment, and what you should pay attention to when purchasing.

The nuances of using main filtering devices

The main water filter for a private house is considered preliminary. Of course, it purifies water from sand particles, and some models are able to remove harmful microorganisms, soften water and improve its taste. But it should be understood that such installations will not be able to clean to the extent that flow or storage type devices will do.

Important! Main filters for water purification in an apartment are recommended to be used in conjunction with flow filters. In this case, the water quality will be ideal. However, with a small amount of pollution, such installations can quite cope with filtration alone.

A rather significant advantage of main filters is the presence of a water pressure regulator in them. You should definitely pay attention to this when choosing and purchasing. The pressure regulator allows you to extend the life of not only faucets, but also household appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers. The regulator eliminates the danger of water hammer that occurs when the pump is turned on, which are detrimental to household appliances.

The maximum number of purification levels for main filters is 3. If a device with one degree is selected, then here we can only talk about the removal of large particles, such as sand and rust. Such filters require replacement of cartridges at least once every six months. In addition, they should be washed periodically, especially with sufficiently dirty and “rusty” water.

Features of flow and storage water treatment devices

The most common location of such filters is under the sink or not far from the faucet on the wall. It all depends on the availability of the tank and its volume. Until recently, plants with five stages of purification were considered the most effective, but now there are even models with six.

Flow filters for water purification in apartments are usually equipped with an additional faucet, which is mounted on the sink next to the main one. At the same time, if main filters are installed on both hot and cold water, then flow filters are more often installed only for drinking water.

Important information! Not all flowing water filters for private houses and apartments are capable of operating at normal pressure in the water supply system. Some models require an additional pump installation. This is the only way to sometimes create a water pressure of 2.5-3 atm., Necessary for the normal functioning of the cleaning device.

And here is how netizens respond about one of these devices of the Aquaphor brand:

olga655, Russia, Koryazhma: After installing it in 2013, we used water for cooking and drinking, it has been used for a long time, we changed the filter only in April 2015. We coped with the installation easily on our own, it is advisable to treat the connecting hoses with a sealant to prevent leakage. From the company Aquaphor, fast delivery was ordered from the site. Customer Service support is fast and efficient. The only drawback is that the faucet began to flow after six months. Convenient flow design. Did not regret the money spent. We change the filter cartridges every six months, the water has ceased to be hard, it has become pleasant to the taste, it has ceased to wash the kettle from scale every day. Classification of devices according to the degree of purification

Here we can distinguish 2 possible degrees - it is coarse and subtle. Surely the designations of the degrees themselves speak for themselves, but it’s still worth considering devices with different cleaning for a more complete understanding of all the nuances of the choice.

Important information! When installing a filter with multi-stage cleaning, one should not think that its first stages, which are considered coarse, can function for a long time without installing an additional main filtration device or at least settling tanks directly after emergency taps.

Coarse water filtration devices

Such devices are a fine mesh that can trap particles. These devices can be either washable or non-washable. A feature of coarse washing filters is that they have a special tap. By attaching a hose to the fitting and opening the valve, you can drain all the dirt contained in it. This makes cleaning the mesh easier. If you pay attention to non-flushing ones, then they do not have such a function, which forces you to periodically disassemble the device and clean the grid. It is to such coarse water filters that sedimentation tanks can be attributed, which are available in almost every apartment or private house. They are installed directly behind the emergency tap or water meter. Such elements are also called filters for the purification of industrial water, which contains many large particles.

Important information! Even if the water in your apartment or private house meets the standards, then no one is immune from sand, lime or rust getting into it. And this can have a detrimental effect on household appliances connected to the system. It is for this reason that the installation of coarse filters is necessary.

Fine water purification: how it is achieved

The main task of devices that carry out fine cleaning is disinfection, iron removal and softening of water. Separate devices can have the functions of aeration, ionization and adding the necessary salts and minerals to it.

In fact, a great job is being done with fine water filters for apartments. First, various elements gradually purify water to a distilled state, and then give it the necessary properties and taste. Of course, such devices require periodic maintenance and replacement of filter elements, but this is a secondary issue. But at the same time, the quality of water (with the right selection of cartridges) becomes close to ideal.

Most often, the installation of filters for fine water purification is carried out by specialists, although, having some knowledge in this area, you can install them yourself. You can find information on how to do this in one of our articles.

Important! When purchasing such devices, pay attention to the terms of the warranty. Some manufacturers will void warranty service if self installation. Their requirements contain a clause stating that installation should be carried out only by qualified specialists.

The difference between filters according to the principle device

According to the principle device, such filters can be divided into cartridge and disk filters. We can only say that the latter are used much less frequently, although they are in no way inferior in terms of characteristics to the former. But this applies only to rough cleaning. It is for this reason that such elements are applicable only for the main type of devices. Let's try to understand what are the fundamental differences between these filters and what is their principle of operation.

Cartridge filtration systems and how they work

With such systems, everything is more or less clear. Water passes through tanks filled with various substances, which first purify it from impurities of a particular composition, and then bring it to the desired state.

Activated carbon is traditionally considered the main element of fillers for cartridges. It can be cheaper (birch) or high cost (coconut shell charcoal). Various chemicals and minerals can also be added.

If we talk about rough cleaning, then often a winding of the thinnest metal wire or thicker cotton thread is used as a filter element in the cartridge. Such a material is quite capable of retaining particles with a size of 20 microns. This is enough to filter the smallest dust particles, sand or rust.

Cartridge water filters have one drawback - the elements must be replaced after a certain period of time. And if at the same time more expensive and high-quality models are chosen, then such a replacement can result in a decent amount. But at the same time, the range of cartridge filters for water purification is quite large, compared to disk filters, which we will also dwell on in more detail now.

Features and composition of disc filters

Less common, but not inferior, and in some cases superior in performance to the previous elements. The filter itself is a bag containing many polymer discs. On their surfaces are notches in the form of a trapezoid. Thanks to such design features under water pressure, a kind of mesh is formed, which traps small particles.

The peculiarity of such an element is that in case of clogging, it is enough to rinse the bag under running water, squeezing and unclenching it a little. At the same time, all the dirt accumulated in the grooves is removed and the filter is ready for use again.

Here are some specifications disc filters for water.

Table 1. Characteristics of disc water filters

Thus, it becomes clear that all cleaning performance is identical to the characteristics of the cartridge elements. In addition, in our time, the manufacturer offers similar filters with automatic flushing, which is quite convenient.

How filters are separated by cleaning method

There are quite a lot of types according to this parameter. This is:

  • Mechanical cleaning filters;
  • Ion exchange devices;
  • With reverse osmosis;
  • Aeration installations;
  • Ozonation systems;
  • ultraviolet;
  • Coal.

Which filter for cleaning is better to buy, everyone will have to decide on their own, but we will try to help with the choice. And for this it is necessary to more fully understand which of the household filters for drinking water purification is intended for what and what functions it performs. Of course, the purpose of some elements can be understood already judging by the name, for example, such as filters for hard water for a private house. But many varieties are not so simple, so let's start.

Mechanical water filters and their purpose

Mechanical cleaning is most often called primary, coarse filtration. All main filters can be attributed to this type. Let's try to understand which manufacturers present goods from this segment on the shelves. The most popular brands here are Atoll, New Water, Geyser and BWT.

Table 2. Popular mechanical water filters

Make and modelA photoFiltration speed, l/minMaximum pressure, atmCost, rub
Geyser 1P 3/4 3200910 7 9000

BWT Protector Mini 1/2 H604R1127 16 5000
PRIO New Water A08215 26 6000

As you can see, the price range is quite large. And that doesn't necessarily mean lower quality cheaper products. The point here is more about the brand and its recognition. After all, at first any company works for a name, and then, regardless of the quality of its products, the name works for it.

In general, mechanical filters for water purification nowadays are sold out very quickly. From conversations with the seller of one of the outlets specializing in such a product, we managed to find out that most often a queue of people who want to purchase main filters is already formed by the weekly delivery. At the same time, there is not enough such products for the whole week.

Ion exchange filters: how they differ from the rest

  • Ultra-high level of cleaning;
  • Removes all bacteria, heavy metals and viruses;
  • Removes dissolved gases of residual chlorine, petroleum products, pesticides, phenol, hazardous metal compounds and other toxic substances;
  • Household filters for softening water retain the mineral composition in it after cleaning;
  • Stabilizes the pH level to the optimum for humans;
  • Helps water to be charged with negative ions;
  • Converts organic salts for easy absorption by the body;
  • Provides high filtration speed, up to several liters per minute;
  • Durable to use cartridges and easy to replace them;
  • Has a variety of options for installation;
  • Allows visual control of the degree of contamination;
  • Provides the ability to install additional degrees cleaning.

In fact, ion exchange is water purification by replacing heavy metals with neutral ones. Of course, we will not go into a full course of chemistry, but consumers consider this method to be quite effective. On average, the cost of such filters in the Russian market stopped at around 1500-3000 rubles. However, you can also find premium models at a price of 90,000-100,000 rubles. The main manufacturers are still the same - Aquaphor, Geyser, New Water and Barrier.

Reverse osmosis filters for the home - the most common type

Such reverse osmosis devices for water purification are installed under the sink or above it. The quality of cleaning systems with reverse osmosis reaches 99%. The cost of such devices is distributed as follows.

Aeration system - what is it

The name itself speaks for itself. Aeration means saturation of water with oxygen. Many may ask - how is oxygenation related to filtration? The answer is simple. Aeration by itself does not purify the water, but with the help of other substances, by saturating it with oxygen, it helps to improve the quality of the final result. For example, aeration of water from a well improves not only its taste, but also increases the level of oxygen in the blood, which has a positive effect on human health. Surely many people know what an “oxygen cocktail” is. This same principle is applied here.

The use of a water aeration system is indicated for people with heart disease, hypertension and hypotension, as well as diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. But, in any case, you should first consult with a specialist.

Ozonation: what is the principle of such a system

Surely every student knows that ozone promotes oxidation. That is why water in some cases is purified by ozonation. So it is directed to a greater extent on iron removal. If there is no excess of iron in your water, then such cleaning is clearly useless. Ozone increases the intensity of iron oxidation, as a result, the particles begin to become covered with additional processes. talking plain language they "rust". Having increased, such particles can no longer pass where simple water seeps freely.

Important information! Water ozonation is contraindicated for allergy sufferers. Ozone, in addition to its main work, partially remains in the water. As a result, an allergic person, consuming such water, automatically increases the risk of a reaction.

Whether ozonation is beneficial or harmful - this issue should be left to the competence of the doctor. But reviews of such devices speak volumes.

Denissasha, Ukraine, Chernivtsi: Ozone, in acceptable concentrations, has a mass useful properties. You can ozonize drinking water, air, process food, places of cuts, burns and trophic ulcers. Ozonation of water and products is safe, all microflora and microfauna die in water, even those that survive chlorination, and the remains of drugs, hormones and other gifts of great chemistry are washed out of meat during processing. It has been verified that the processing of homemade village chicken practically does not give results, chicken meat bought in stores after processing is almost always covered with nasty mucus that must be washed off. How, what and how much to process is written in the instructions for the ozonator. More on Otzovik: http://otzovik.com/review_167392.html

Ultraviolet and its effect on the body

Here we can say with confidence that such devices quite effectively fight pathogenic bacteria and microorganisms. For example, we can cite UV lamps that can be seen in the treatment and operating rooms of clinics and hospitals. Like them, ultraviolet water filters completely disinfect the liquid. But there are also negative sides. All useful material contained in water also perish.

Carbon filter and its properties

Coal itself is an absorbent substance. This means that any resins, formaldehydes and other similar substances are retained by them. Today, the carbon water filter is considered the best in terms of cleaning.

In fact, if you think about it, no cartridge can do without such a layer. This suggests that the use of a carbon filter for water purification provides purification from the most common harmful substances.

The average cost of water filters in private homes

Prices for water filters in private houses and apartments may vary. If we compare the most famous manufacturers, we can understand the average dependence. An example is reverse osmosis filters.

BrandAverage cost in Russia, rub.
Atoll19000
Geyser16000
Aquaphor11000
New Water10000

Of course, all prices are given in the average equivalent, but this table is able to show an approximate concept.

It turns out that buying a water filter for country house, cottages or apartments is not so difficult. After all, the cost of such equipment is low. And in general, is it worth saving on health?

AT apartment buildings the centralized drinking water supply system is in operation. Of course, water treatment is carried out before entering residential apartments, but it cannot be said with certainty that even after it the water is completely ready for use. To get really purified water from mechanical impurities and dissolved salts, it is necessary to use additional purification systems, which are presented in a wide range.

Peculiarities

The current water purification in water pipes follows the same type of scheme, it consists of several stages.

First you need to put a mechanical filter- here it is optimal to use trunk options that are equipped with replaceable polypropylene cartridges. Such purifiers effectively trap iron, sand, and other suspensions, which not only improves water quality, but also prevents rust. The main devices are cut directly into the water supply, this allows you to completely clean running water by 100%.

Keep in mind that for hot water treatment it is necessary to use special designs that are resistant to high temperatures. The use of coarse filters allows not only to purify water from mechanical impurities, but also significantly increase the service life of the entire plumbing system in the apartment.

At the next stage, hot and cold water is purified from impurities of chlorine and metals., for this they also use main water filters with carbon cartridges, and the result of using the cleaning system is immediately noticeable to the naked eye - after passing through it, the water acquires a bluish tint, and also disappears bad smell chlorine.

While taking a shower from water purified in this way, the inhabitants of the apartments do not complain about the unpleasant feeling of skin tightness that occurs after hygiene procedures using unfiltered water.

At the third stage, hardness salts (calcium and magnesium) are removed, which contribute to the formation of scale and plaque on the inside of the pipeline and other plumbing elements in the apartment. The filters that are used for this contain special softeners.

Well and on finishing stage a filter is used, which is installed directly on the sink - it is used to obtain high-quality drinking water.

To modern systems water treatment is subject to the most stringent requirements– it must be efficient, environmentally friendly, ergonomic and reliable. It usually includes filters, as well as hoses and containers for supply pure water, but at the same time it has minimal dimensions - the most popular options are compact models that can be easily placed under the sink.

Of course, a private house or cottage has a great advantage over apartments when it comes to creating a water purification system, since a separate room or isolated space can be allocated for it, in an apartment the space is limited in size and layout. Therefore, all elements of the cleaning system are constantly in contact with residents.

But it should also be borne in mind that apartment buildings fed from a common central water supply, therefore, there is no need for preliminary purification, since water enters the house already purified from mechanical impurities, pathogens and dangerous compounds. The main purpose of filters in apartments is the removal of calcium, magnesium salts, as well as excess chlorine.

In the conditions of small apartments, filter jugs and other systems equipped with storage tanks for storing the filtrate are optimal.

Often, water purification systems in apartments contain non-standard methods of water preparation: magnetic field, ultrasound and the like. However, most city dwellers prefer the standard approach to water treatment, which long years use has proven itself to be reliable and fully compliant with current norms and standards.

Varieties

To remove solid impurities, mechanical filtration is used, while the filters are divided into options with and without auto-washing.

The former are compact in size, their diameters correspond to the parameters of the pipe into which they are mounted.

Usually the body of such products is made of brass or stainless steel, and threaded connections can be the most diverse in materials and sizes, they are selected in each case individually. Such filters have a fairly low price - as a rule, their cost does not exceed hundreds of rubles, although there are more expensive branded models.

Since the screens are periodically clogged, they have to be cleaned regularly, so the lower part of the flask is usually removable, it can be easily unscrewed and removed, and after cleaning the screen, it returns to its place.

The filter with auto-washing is equipped with a pipe and a tap, which are installed at the bottom of the flask. With the help of a hose, the branch pipe has access to the sewer, so if you need to clean such a filter, you just need to open the tap, and the water flowing under pressure will wash away all the contents into the sewer. After that, the valve is closed and the device can be operated further.

As a rule, such filters are equipped with a pressure gauge reducer, with which they determine the degree of clogging of the mesh: if the pressure drops, then it's time to clean the filter. However, if the filter is equipped with a transparent flask, then a pressure gauge is not needed - the degree of contamination can be determined by appearance.

Depending on the type of connection, all mechanical filters can be flanged or sleeved. Flanged filters are usually used for the production of main filters that are installed in high-pressure water pipes.

Disc filters are less popular. They are a set of rings, the surface of which has scratches of different depths. At the same time, the disks are very tightly pressed together, the water, when passing through them, contacts all the hollows so that ever larger particles settle on their walls. Since the movement is spiral, the removal of suspensions is quite high quality.

Water purified from mechanical impurities can be used for washing, washing dishes, cleaning and other household needs. However, it is not suitable for drinking or cooking. Relatively speaking, it can be used for ingestion only after boiling, and in order to be able to drink water without heat treatment, you need to use fine filters that can effectively remove most of the substances dissolved in the form and disinfect it.

Most often, one of several popular options is used for this.

filter jug

This is the most budgetary and affordable option that effectively reduces the content of chlorine, copper and iron in the liquid, softens the water and retains mechanical impurities.

Cleansing occurs when water passes through a replaceable cartridge, which contains:

  • activated carbon - necessary to remove chlorine-containing compounds and microorganisms;
  • polypropylene fibers - which are used to precipitate the remnants of solid impurities;
  • ion exchange resin - allows you to remove calcium and manganese salts, as well as heavy metal compounds and radionuclides.

The advantages of filter jars include ease of use and low price.

Of the minuses, it is worth noting the short life of the cartridge and the inability to restore them.

When purchasing jugs, you should give preference to brands of well-known manufacturers, since cheaper options often produce only a rough cleaning.

Attachment on the crane

Another popular type of filters, which are similar to jugs in principle. At the time of water passing through such a nozzle, all chlorine compounds and mechanical impurities are removed at the inlet. Certain varieties can also remove hardness salts, heavy metals, iron ions and aluminum, and in addition, nozzles containing activated carbon are cleaned of most varieties of bacteria, phenol and organics.

The popularity of nozzles is due to their ease of installation and small dimensions. The disadvantages are the same as those of jugs, and in terms of the cost of cleaning per input liter of water, it turns out that these filters are more expensive than multi-stage cleaning systems.

Multi-stage cleaning

The effectiveness of cartridge filters largely depends on the number of purification levels - that is, individual filter elements that can trap certain types of contaminants.

Such systems can be one-, two-, three- or even four-stage.

Single-stage contain universal inserts with a multi-layer structure, they are quite cheap. However, their effectiveness raises many doubts, since the composition of water varies greatly in each region, and in the case of using universal systems, it cannot be expected that impurities specific to a particular area will be removed from the water.

Multi-stage filters are a housing of several flasks, each of which contains a special filter component that removes strictly defined types of contaminants. These flasks are interconnected by means of overflows, flowing through which the water is gradually purified. The advantage of such a system is the ability to install a specific filter for your analysis of tap water - this significantly improves the quality of cleaning. However, such filters require free space, are difficult to install and high cost. In reverse osmosis of such filters, a significant amount of water is required - in order to purify 1 liter of water, up to 5 liters of "waste" is needed.

There is an opinion that deep water purification leaches all microelements useful to humans from it, this theory has not been confirmed or refuted, however, for those who fear the loss of their beneficial properties by water, water mineralizers are always on sale.

Let us dwell separately on the filter options that are used in multistage systems for cleaning from various kinds dissolved substances.

If the water acquires a brown hue and a characteristic taste, then this may indicate a high iron content in it, this phenomenon often occurs when water from wells and wells is used. Such water causes the formation of deposits on the walls of sanitary appliances and clogs shut-off equipment, if the concentration of ferrocompounds exceeds 2 mg / liter, then they must be removed.

The best way out in this situation would be to use a catalytic filter- it is a rather large cylinder in which catalysts are placed; such equipment requires connection to the electrical network.

With the introduction of the backfill composition of special components, manganese, chlorine and other substances can be removed.

As a rule, the removal of deposits is carried out according to a certain schedule, most often at night. The backfill is effectively washed under the influence of water pressure, all pollutants are discharged into the sewer, usually night time is set for this.

Catalytic filters are very complex and by no means cheap equipment, but they are the most reliable and durable of all on the market.

There is another way to remove iron salts from water - aeration. To do this, water is supplied to the tank with air, which is pumped through the pump through nozzles in the form of a suspension, the iron contained in it reacts with oxygen, oxidizes, and the resulting oxides remain in the filter at the outlet.

There are two types of water filters of this type - pressure and non-pressure. For more active oxidation, an oxidizing agent - hydrogen peroxide or sodium hypochlorite - can be supplied to these installations. In this case, biological water treatment is also carried out - from microbes and bacteria.

Famous manufacturers and reviews

When buying a water filter, it is very important to choose a truly high-quality product that will effectively purify water from all types of contaminants. Unfortunately, today's market is literally flooded with a wide variety of fakes that claim to produce complex cleaning, but in fact only remove solid particles and chlorinate.

Based on consumer feedback, a rating of manufacturers was compiled, whose products have established themselves as high-quality and reliable.

The absolute leaders are the products of the Aquaphor brand. This company sells a wide range of various cartridge filters - for drinking water, for showers, as well as for washing and dishwashers. Among the products of this brand, you can always choose installations focused on cleaning both cold and hot water, which completely neutralize all types of chemical compounds. However, among the products you can also find such filters, whose tasks include only rough cleaning - all information about functional purpose placed on the package.

No less popular are the filters of the German manufacturer Honeywell., which offers devices that can withstand significant excesses of the working pressure in the water supply system, which can reach 10 times. Among the products offered by this brand, you can find both coarse and fine filters, and the main filter element is a special metal grid, which is closed in a reliable flask of high strength.

Among domestic companies, Novaya Voda purification systems are very popular. Products of this brand are distinguished by affordability and exceptionally high quality. The product range includes main filters with a separate tap, the degree and level of water purification in which can be adjusted by changing cartridges.

A large number of of users prefers the Geyser brand, the company tirelessly introduces the latest technological developments into production, thanks to which treatment systems based on ion-exchange polymer were created.

It should be noted that under the brand name "Geyser" a lot of various filters are produced, the products are presented in all regions of our country. In stores, you can find both the simplest household models and complex industrial installations that can purify fairly large volumes of liquid at once.

Atoll - the company operates in the market of treatment systems for more than a decade and tirelessly invests in the improvement of its products. How to choose?

To choose the optimal water treatment system for installation in an apartment, it is not enough to find out the reviews of relatives and friends, you must take into account your own operating parameters.

If financial possibilities allow, then the best option would be a nanofilter that will serve faithfully for many years and does not require replacing the cartridge, and the water after it will be perfect.

The water in public water pipes in Russia is fraught with many surprises. Even in those cities where the authorities declare that water can be drunk straight from the tap, it is worthwhile to analyze the water before such experiments. As a rule, it will show that such water does not provide health benefits and is either neutral or harmful to human body. There can be many reasons for this - even the most modern urban water treatment plants are powerless in front of outdated water pipes, and in sanitary standards the hardness value is allowed such that even after one boil, scale flakes form in the kettle. Looking at this white coating, cloudy or rusty water, smelling chlorine, apartment dwellers often make a simple but wrong choice in favor of buying bottled drinking water. After all, water in bottles and coolers is often the same tap water, but it has undergone special purification through filters. This suggests a solution that will help to avoid storing water in plastic containers, avoiding the transfer of bottles from the store to the apartment and simply not overpay for a brand of drinking water - you need to install your own drinking water filter for the apartment and get tasty and healthy tap water at any time. kitchen!

What types of filters for an apartment exist?

Today, there are quite a few solutions for water purification, which differ in both capital and periodic investments, size, performance, the need to replace consumables - cartridges or filter media. The most common filters for purifying tap water in an apartment:

  • Faucet filter attachment
  • filter jug
  • Main water filter
  • Flow-through water purification system for the kitchen
  • Reverse osmosis system
  • Compact water softeners for the whole apartment
  • Filters for washing machines and dishwashers
  • Filters for steam generators, ice makers and coffee machines

Drinking water treatment

Despite the affordable cost, jug filters and faucet nozzles are gradually losing their popularity - they are being replaced by more efficient and economical flow and reverse osmosis systems. The small resource of cartridges and the low degree of cleaning of jugs make them economically viable only for a short time period. And if water purification is required in an apartment for the whole family, then the filtration systems installed under the sink have practically no competitors.

Reverse osmosis is the most popular type of water purifier in an apartment. Such a system removes insoluble and suspended particles (rust, sand, silt), nitrates, fluorides, nitrites, pesticides, ammonium salts and other chemical elements. Reverse osmosis is also able to filter out viruses and bacteria, reduce hardness, the amount of iron and active chlorine.

There is a widespread myth about "dead water", which is obtained after filtration by such systems, however, experts are sure that it is better to use pure water than one where, along with useful mineral composition, there are excesses in heavy metals, fluorides, chlorine and microbiology. There are also reverse osmosis systems with a mineralizer, which partially restores the salt composition of water. It is also worth noting that a person receives most of the useful trace elements from food, and not from water. If you eat fruits, vegetables and dairy products, then reverse osmosis water will only benefit. The performance of the reverse osmosis system is up to 200 liters of pure water per day. After deep cleaning, drinking water accumulates in a special tank. Therefore, even in the event of an unforeseen shutdown, you will have your own supply of drinking water, which comes under its own pressure created by a rubber bulb inside the tank.

Reverse osmosis water is ideal for ice makers and coffee machines because it does not form scale. Nice bonus when installing a reverse osmosis water purification system for an apartment, it will also become that it is recommended to use it in irons and steamers - there will no longer be whitish stains on clothes, and the equipment will last much longer. The situation is similar with steam generators and air humidification systems. If it is necessary to purify water from suspended solids, iron and chlorine, but retain the mineral composition of water, it is worth choosing a simpler flow-through water purification system. It is worth noting that this is the most inexpensive water filter for washing. In such a system, the same purification steps are used as in the reverse osmosis filter, but the reverse osmosis membrane is not used.

After the filters under the sink, water enters a separate clean water tap or a special kitchen faucet with a tap for drinking water. It is up to you to decide which sink water filter is best for your kitchen, we can offer a wide range of equipment and spare parts, install and service a household water filter. You can buy a water filter for a sink with installation in Ecodar company stores or order a water filter with delivery.

Drinking water machine for an apartment

A modern replacement for coolers is drinking water dispensers, or simply purifiers. If the delivery of water to an apartment is quite profitable for a business, then for residents it is quite an expensive pleasure. In addition to the cost, water for a cooler with delivery is often of poor quality, because. bottled without filtration or in unprepared, dirty bottles. Therefore, more and more corporate and private customers are choosing coolers without bottles - purifiers, the water in which comes from the central water supply and undergoes high-quality cleaning through filtration cartridges. There are even models with ultraviolet water disinfection, so that the water gets perfectly clean into your glass!

Desktop machines, in particular Ecomaster Cube, are especially popular. This innovative development from English company Waterlogic not only purifies water with cartridge filters, but also disinfects it with a special ultraviolet spiral with Firewall technology. The machine can give you unlimited access to hot and cold water. The equipment is equipped with child protection so that little fidgets do not get burned.

Soda at home? Easily!

Good news for lovers of carbonated mineral water - the company Ekodar offers you floor standing machines with the function of water aeration. You can make it like classic soda water with carbon dioxide, or you can make a healthy oxygen cocktail. Such a machine takes up less space than a cooler. Bottles are not required - the connection is made directly to the water supply line. Water passes deep cleaning through a flow system or a filter with a reverse osmosis membrane.

Stages of water purification in the apartment by reverse osmosis

  • Mechanical cleaning - preliminary purification of water in the apartment from suspended particles and various insoluble impurities.
  • Sorption filtration is a cartridge filter filled with activated carbon granules designed to remove active chlorine and its odor, as well as to protect the membrane from chlorine exposure.
  • Carbon block is a monolithic carbon block that removes unpleasant odors and organic compounds.
  • The reverse osmosis membrane is the main element of the filter, which provides water purification from toxic metals, fluorides, nitrites, nitrates, various salts, bacteria, viruses and high-molecular components of organic origin.
  • The mineralizer is a special cartridge designed to enrich water with potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, as well as other microelements and useful mineral salts.
  • Post-carbon is an additional purification filter that allows you to significantly improve the taste of water, as well as completely remove organic compounds and odors remaining after the previous stages.

Water purification throughout the apartment

The main flow water filter is installed at the water inlet to the apartment. It is designed to filter large contaminants - sand, rust, dissolved iron. Such filters are often installed on both cold and hot water. As a rule, cartridge filters are made of plastic, however, there are also metal counterparts made of stainless steel.

A shower filter in the form of a nozzle is an ineffective way to remove water hardness. The models we tested showed effectiveness for 10-15 times of taking a full shower. After that, the ion-exchange properties of the material ended and the replacement of the filter cartridge was required. The low cost of such a filter is illusory, because the frequency of buying filter elements is quite high and it is much more profitable to install a full-fledged softener in the form of a cylinder with ion-exchange resin and control automation, or a compact cabinet-type softener for an apartment.

The compact softener for the bathroom Ecodar Compact occupies 1/3m2, while effectively eliminating hardness cold water. Because hot water leaves its hardness when heated in boilers, when taking a shower you will get soft water ideal for the human body. Women especially notice the difference - after installing softener filters in an apartment, their skin no longer feels dry and tight, their hair becomes less brittle and easier to comb. It will also reduce the number detergents Soaps and shampoos lather much more intensively in soft water. Softener without cartridges - once a month you will need to monitor the level of salt, which is necessary to regenerate the useful properties of the ion-exchange filter material.

Why purify water at all?

Municipal water supply (vodokanal) purifies water in the following way. Water is taken from a reservoir or well, and then a coagulant is added to it - a substance that collects small particles of impurities into large flakes. Then mechanical filtration is carried out, which removes these flakes from the water. Next comes the bactericidal treatment - chlorination.

The resulting water meets sanitary standards. This means that it is not toxic and not hazardous to health in the short term. That is, MPC (maximum permissible concentration) of harmful substances in such water is NOT exceeded. Yes, substances CAN be there, but in quantities allowed by the standard. To make it completely clear: you can drink such water without the risk of dying immediately after drinking. But such water may contain chlorine residues, pesticides and other organic matter. After passing through the pipes, the water collects colloidal iron, rust and heavy metal ions. All this can be part of both ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, from which pipes, taps, fittings and other plumbing fixtures are made. It won’t hurt you right away, but in the long run, drinking such water will definitely affect your health. Therefore, water purification is an important and necessary matter. Especially if there are children in the house (my wife and I are planning to get one soon).

Practice

To find out how filters from different manufacturers differ from each other, and which filter cleans how, my colleague and I conducted a small “investigative” experiment. You can repeat it even at home with the filter that you have at home. True, you will have to spend some money on the purchase of reagents - there are sites that sell equipment and materials for chemistry lessons, you will find everything there. In this regard, I was lucky with the work - I managed to agree with the laboratory and get the reagents there.

Which pitcher is best?

I used jug filters all those years that I wandered around rented apartments. To be honest, I have never particularly seen the difference between the filter-jugs of different brands and did not even think that it exists in principle: they all cost the same plus or minus and plus or minus look the same. I always chose based on the price tag, volume and color of the lid. Therefore, there were no great hopes to get different results on the test.

For the experiment, we chose the three most popular filters, judging by the reviews on the Internet: Aquaphor Provence with the A5 module (cartridge price - 240 rubles), Barrier with the Standard 4 module (cartridge price 210 rubles) and Brita Marella "with the module "Maxtr Universal" (the price of the cartridge is 350 rubles).

Everything is fair: completely new filters were tested. For each, just in case, a spare cartridge was purchased.

Before the tests, the cartridge of each jug was washed with about a liter of water - according to the instructions, this is the only way they give out full cleaning power, otherwise the experiment will not be indicative.

First of all, it was decided to check how the jugs cope with pesticides, toxins and other organic matter. The issue is important, because, as mentioned above, the water utility does not remove most of the organic pollutants from the water.

The presence of pesticides, toxins, organics and organochlorines in water cannot be determined with the naked eye and taste. Therefore, in our experiment, their role was played by the dye "Methylene blue", which even at a low concentration (10-50 µg/l) colors the water in a radical blue color. In GOST 4453-74, this dye is used to determine the sorption capacity of activated carbon, that is, the ability of coal to bind organic substances contained in water. It is important for us that methylene blue, firstly, is similar in chemical structure to pesticides and toxins, and secondly, even in small concentrations it is perfectly visible without any instruments.

The dye is sold in pet stores - it is used to disinfect aquariums, and costs less than 50 rubles per bottle. If you want to test your home filter the same way we did, here is the easiest and cheapest way.

So, we dissolved the contents of the vial (50 ml) in 6 liters of water and got a solution with a concentration of approximately 50 mg/l. The resulting dark blue liquid was passed through filters. The results were evaluated visually as follows: if the water is completely transparent, the filter copes well with organic pollutants. If the water at the outlet is blue or blue, respectively, such a filter would also let pesticides through. The darker the blue, the lower the cleaning percentage.

You can judge for yourself from the photo: cleaning is close to 100% - only at Aquaphor. He was the only one who gave out visually clear water. Barrier and Brita have 80-85% each, which, by the way, is more expensive than the rest of the participants combined.

Then they washed the jugs with water from the "blue" and immediately began testing the effectiveness of the same cartridges in the fight against rusty water. For clarity, we used a suspension of iron (III) hydroxide at a concentration of 100 mg/l (for iron). The resulting solution has more than three hundred times the maximum allowable concentration of iron in water.

In this experiment, Brita stood out: water passed through the filter one and a half times faster than through Aquaphor and Barrier. For an ordinary user, such a high “clearing” speed is a big plus. Just scored - and you can already drink. That's just, as it became clear from the experiment, fast does not always mean good!

The results were also evaluated visually. According to the results of the rust test, Aquaphor again became the “winner” - it gave completely clear water at the outlet, that is, it filtered out almost 100% of the suspension. The second place belongs to the “Barrier” (~ 85%), and the most expensive participant in our experiments, Brita (~ 80%), removed the rust from the water worst of all.

These results are visible even without any measurement of concentrations - it's just that the water looks completely different. Such different results for similar (seemingly) filters in terms of design and operation principle surprised us. As I said, initially I used to think that they all work the same way. To find out the reason for such strong differences in the efficiency of water purification, we decided to open the cartridges and study the sorbent. Maybe Aquaphor has more of it or does it have a fundamentally different composition?

We cut the cartridges that participated in the test and examined the contents. Inner world"Barrier" and "Brits" turned out to be identical. Black granules - activated carbon, gray granules - ion exchange resin. Brita has smaller granules - hence the high speed and poor quality of mechanical filtration. Despite the fact that the filter is the most expensive, the sorbent in it is the least.

Against the backdrop of the Barrier and Brita crumbling into a shapeless pile, the sorbent from the Aquaphor cartridge keeps invigorating. The granules of coal and resin in this filter retained the shape of an Easter cake, and the granules are two times smaller in size than those of Brita and Barrier.

These granules are held together by thin yellow fibers as a single composite. It's kind of like earth in a pot with a plant - if you've ever transplanted flowers, you've seen how the tangle of fine roots holds the soil together.

The fibers, as it turned out, are a special material of Aqualen-2. The manufacturer's website says that this is a unique own development of the Aquaphor Research Institute - a special fiber that (further quote from the site) “selectively absorbs heavy metal ions and allows silver ions to be retained in the sorbent in an active ionic form, and also retains sorbent granules, preventing the formation of channels through which water passes without purification.”

The diagram above (also taken from the Aquaphor website) shows how the sorbent works in different filters. In conventional cartridges, where activated carbon and resin are packed in a chaotic pile, water forms channels between the granules and passes through them very quickly with little or no cleaning. Aqualen-2 fights the "channel effect" and allows the use of a finer sorbent. " root system» in the Aquaphor cartridge distributes water over a large area, so that the sorbent has time to retain more pollutants. Clear water in a jug is a direct confirmation of this.

The photo of the disassembled cartridge shows that the blue dye solution did not pass even a third of the sorbent block, while the Barrier and Brita sorbents were completely stained, and at the same time, part of the methylene blue was passed into the container for purified water.

Why do other manufacturers not even try to do something similar, but use the old technology of filling the sorbent in a shapeless pile? In search of additions to the experiment, I again scoured the Internet. Brita's jugs have an interesting design, very beautiful creative advertising. It was not possible to find intelligible information on the content of the filters. Coal and ion exchange resin are classics that have not changed for more than 30 years. "Barrier" clearly shows the cartridge in a section, but the experiment says that there are also questions about the effectiveness of such a design. "Aquaphor" does not skimp and invests in development. They did not even expect to find a Russian manufacturer's own research institute and investments in know-how worth millions of dollars.

Why, apart from Aquaphor, few people bother with the development of technology - one can only guess. First, it is difficult and expensive. Secondly, it is also a thankless task. With more or less normal tap water, the presence of contamination in it with the naked eye cannot be seen - the solutions of most toxins and pesticides are actually colorless, and not blue, like the dye in our experiment. Rust in such a strong concentration occurs only during accidents or in “morning discharges”. None of the usual buyers of filters will conduct stress tests like ours. That is, a normal person, like my mother, will not know about the existence of any differences in the quality of cleaning between "Brita" and "Aquaphor". And in the store on the shelf, all filters are generally the same, and people choose by price, volume and color of the lid. So why do manufacturers spend money on development - is it logical?
However, enough lyrics - let's continue to compare filters.

In general, stationary filters, although more expensive, are better (at least for Russian realities). Readers who have their own housing or rather accommodating landlords are definitely advised to spend money and install a stationary filter, and not expect to get by with a jug. But which sink filter should you choose?

It is unlikely that you will be able to compare stationary filters at home: firstly, it is expensive to buy several different filters, and secondly, it is also quite difficult to mount them.

In order not to waste time installing filters under the sink, we built a tricky “simulation” of a water pipe right in the laboratory. An electric pump pumps water with a pressure of about 3.5 atmospheres from a large tank of raw water to two filters at once. The filtered water is collected in two smaller glass containers.

The participants in the new comparison were two filters that are claimed to remove 100% of bacteria from the water. In the case of microbiological contamination, half-measures are unacceptable: either the filter removes 100% of all bacteria, or it is 100% NOT effective. The thing is that, unlike pesticides, toxins, rust, hardness salts and other pollutants, living organisms reproduce. So even if the filter leaves 0.01% of bacteria in the water, after some time this negligible amount of microorganisms will multiply to a volume of 100%.

So, filters with a "bactericidal" function: in the left corner of the ring "Aquaphor Crystal Eco" with a K7V cartridge (4,950 rubles), in the right corner of the ring - there was a "Geyser" with an Aragon-2 cartridge (4,790 rubles).

…………………. THE FURTHER TEXT HAS BEEN CHANGED AFTER POST PUBLISHING …………………

I was forced to change the original text of my post at the request of an employee of the Geyser company.

The comparison gave extremely interesting results and conclusions, collected a lot of comments, questions and clarifications in PM (thanks for your interest!).
But two weeks later, a representative of the Geyser brand came to me in a personal message and accused me of bias and unfair conclusions. And after some discussions, they demanded from me an ultimatum to remove the description of the test results of their filter from my post, threatening otherwise to put legal pressure and achieve the removal of the entire post. Ugly, in general, the situation came out.

In PM, I asked the representative a simple question:
How does Geyser with an Aragon cartridge filter water from bacteria and viruses?

A) mechanical filtration method (simply physically does not let bacteria through)? If so, why do particles as small as 1 micron (the same size for bacteria) pass through the filter in my test?
b) or is it still a chemical filtration method? If so, which substance actively kills bacteria and viruses? After all, we look at point a) particles of 1 micron in size still seep through the filter - our test clearly showed this.

Unfortunately, after a long, several days, personal correspondence, I did not receive answers to these questions from the Geyser representative.

But, in any case, I delete the results of our testing of the Geyser filter with the Aragon cartridge from the post - I don’t want to provoke a conflict.

Nevertheless, I consider it necessary to note that the test results seemed to me (and a large number of readers) worthy of interest. And so I will continue to understand the issue further. And I will think about how to convey unbiased information about the real effectiveness of Geyser filters to interested consumers.

In the meantime, I suggest that you familiarize yourself with the second part of the results of our test - the results of the Aquaphor filter.

…………………. END OF CHANGED FRAGMENT OF THE ORIGINAL POST …………………

We did not dare to dilute dangerous biological pollution, therefore, as a test system, we decided to use a suspension of hematite, a mineral whose particles are comparable in size to the size of bacteria (about 1 micron). A suspension of hematite at a concentration of 0.5 g per liter has a rich carrot color - if the filters do not cut off the particles, we will immediately see this - the water will be yellow.

"Aquaphor" with a K7V cartridge gave clear, clean water. Hematite particles remained in the filter - the same fate would have awaited bacteria.

The Aquaphor IVF test report is included in the device instructions. According to the protocol, due to the use of a hollow fiber membrane, the filter cuts off 100% of bacteria. The manufacturer's website indicates that the membrane retains the smallest particles ranging in size from 0.1 microns.

findings

In the course of our tests, the Aquaphor filters turned out to be the most effective and interesting to study. The domestic manufacturer, quite unexpectedly for us, significantly outperformed its rivals in terms of the quality of water purification: in all tests, its filters produced clean, clear water. As far as we understood the topic, the effect was achieved due to the company's own developments. For example, the patented Aqualen-2 fiber made the filter-jug sorbent an order of magnitude more efficient and extended its service life.

The eminent European brand Brita was genuinely disappointed: it turned out that in the case of filters of this brand, the overpayment goes exclusively for European origin and a big-name hyped name. The Germans managed to save even on cartridge filler, which is why their jug showed the weakest results.
In my kitchen, I eventually installed Aquaphor Crystal ECO. And I took Aquaphor Provence to my parents' dacha. Instead of the Brita they had before...

The purity of the water entering the apartment determines the quality of our life. Hearing about the change in the environment and the deterioration of drinking water, many people think about what this life-giving moisture actually carries and how to protect themselves and their loved ones. The right decision is to purchase a water filter with multi-stage cleaning, which will get rid of dirt, chlorine, scale in the kettle and put a reliable barrier against heavy metal ions, pesticides and pathogenic bacteria. The rating of 10 models of water filters for washing will help you choose the option that is suitable for the price and quality.

The results of studies and tests of bottled drinking water conducted by Roskontrol showed that it often does not meet the standards and sometimes does not differ from tap water, which means that the use of household cleaners is becoming especially relevant.

Filters for washing: types

Among all cleaning devices, they are expensive and relatively difficult to install, require free space under the sink and regularly change cartridges. But, as professionals in this field note, it makes sense to spend money on a stationary filter once in order to get an uninterrupted source of clean water in the house with a convenient separate tap.

Let's find out what features a sink filter has and how to choose among the variety on the market.

The main difference is in the principle of water purification. Such installations are divided into 2 main types.

Flow system with stackable cartridge modules

Such devices have a multi-stage design and consist of 2, 3, 4 or 5 modules through which water passes in series. The cartridges located in them perform various functions:

  • delay mechanical pollution (sand, rust from pipes);
  • eliminate chlorine, unpleasant odor;
  • remove excess metal salts;
  • soften hard water.

Advantages of flow filters:

  • low cost;
  • clean water immediately comes from the tap;
  • the ability to control the functionality of the system by selecting filter cartridges suitable for a particular case.

The disadvantages include the following:

  • as the cartridges are used, the resource is exhausted and the quality of cleaning gradually decreases;
  • each cartridge module removes some specific contamination and does not 100% clean all possible harmful impurities.

Attention! Multi-stage installation requires good pressure in the water supply.

reverse osmosis system

Such a device also performs multi-stage cleaning, the main difference is that the final processing takes place using an osmotic membrane, which removes all harmful impurities at the molecular level. At the outlet, the filtering unit produces the purest, oxygen-enriched water, discharging the filtered dirt into the sewer through the drainage tube.

Advantages:

  • the most effective purification from all possible impurities;
  • the quality of cleaning is constant, always at the highest level and does not depend on the exhaustion of the resource of the cartridges.

Features that can be attributed to the disadvantages:

  • Low rate of obtaining purified water, due to which such filters are equipped with additional tanks with a volume of 8 to 12 liters. This will require more space under the sink.
  • With harmful substances, almost all salts are removed from the water, so you need to select models with mineralizers that saturate the liquid at the exit with useful microelements.
  • For cleaning with a reverse osmosis membrane, you need high pressure in pipes, so some models are equipped with a built-in pump (pump), which automatically turns on if the pressure is below the required level, and fully carry out the cleaning cycle. Naturally, they cost the consumer more, especially foreign products.

Price - from 2,328 rubles.

In the Aquaphor line of budget devices, this is the most popular model. Equipped with three stages of purification, including carbon filtration and ion exchange. The unit is able to purify water from harmful impurities and perform microfiltration of particles up to 0.1 micron in size.

Productivity - 2 liters per minute.

Resource of the filtering module - 6000 l.

  • low price;
  • compactness and efficiency;
  • separate faucet included;
  • easy installation;
  • replacement of the filter module with the housing is carried out quickly and without interference;
  • the filter for softening water is regenerated according to the instructions when the quality of cleaning decreases.
  • a small resource of filters, scale in an electric kettle with very hard water appears quickly enough;
  • some users do not like the taste of purified water.

Price - from 5 360 rubles.

  • has the highest degree water purification;
  • easy to maintain;
  • will fit in the narrowest niche, the size of the pre-filter block is 360x190x160mm, plus the tank size (height / diameter) 370x240 mm.
  • the optimal ratio of the cost of a liter of clean water, if you consume 10 liters of clean water daily for two years, the filter will pay off in a year and a half and the cost of 1 liter of clean water will be about 2 rubles.
