Floor screed adjustable floors. Floor installation: screws for installing the lag. The device of adjustable floor logs - construction technologies

Not so long ago, in the process of laying a log on a rough base, pieces of plywood or wooden stakes were laid under the bars. Thus, it was possible to protect the tree from moisture and level the rough base horizontally. But over time, the substrate dried out and became unusable, which affected the horizontalness of the coating. In the article we will consider modern methods of attaching a lag to different types grounds.

Features of the use of fasteners

In the process of attaching the log to the wooden base, there are no special problems. For this you can use long screws or corners. But what about a concrete base, into which you can’t easily screw screws? To strengthen the logs on concrete, you need to use special types of fasteners. The choice of fasteners required for mounting the bars to concrete floor depends on the following factors:

  1. The horizontality of the surface. Depending on whether additional alignment is required or not, adjustable or non-height adjustable fasteners can be used;
  2. Substrate moisture level. If the logs are mounted on a strip foundation, they will have to be laid almost on the ground. To fix the bars, they mainly use brick posts that protect the tree from moisture, playing the role of an insulating lining;
  3. Degrees of load on the base. You can strengthen the logs on the floor with the help of self-tapping screws and brackets. However, in the case of intensive use of the floor, the screws may not withstand the load. That is why the type of fastener is chosen in accordance with the expected load on the floor covering;
  4. Underground heights. Wooden floors are prone to condensation under the coating and rotting. To protect the wooden base from decay and deformation, experts recommend using high supports for the log. They form an underground under the bars, in which air can circulate freely, which prevents the formation of condensate.

In order to correctly fix the bars on draft floor, you need to understand not only the methods of fastening, but also the varieties of fasteners. An adequate choice of support will extend the service life of not only the rough, but also the finish coating.

Types of fasteners

As already noted, fastening the bars to the floor involves the use of only two types of fasteners:

  • Simple - static supports that do not allow you to vary the height of the installation of wooden elements;
  • Adjustable - contain screw structures, thanks to which the fasteners can be set in height, which allows achieving maximum horizontalness of the base.

What types of fasteners can be used to fix the beams to the floor?

  • support posts;
  • self-tapping screws;
  • corners;
  • brackets;
  • anchor.

To understand the essence and features of the application of the above details, we will consider each of the categories in more detail.

self-tapping screws

Self-tapping screws are simple fasteners that are used to finish a wooden, but not a concrete floor. Sufficiently long rods external thread able to attach beams to hardwood floors, but only if the following nuances are taken into account:

  • Before fasteners and in the bars themselves, and in the base, through holes must be made;
  • It is necessary to insert a dowel into the through hole and only then screw in the self-tapping screw;
  • So that the logs do not come off the wooden base, self-tapping screws are fixed in increments of 40-60 mm;
  • The length of the self-tapping screw is determined by the thickness of the bars, it is desirable that in the process of screwing in the “tail” of the screw goes into the base at least 5 cm.

The affordable price of fasteners has made them very popular among home craftsmen. But, in order to achieve the desired result, in the process of installing the lag, it is necessary to take into account the above points.

Anchor

Anchor is a combined fastener with self-fastening, which, unlike dowels, is not only easily fixed in the base, but also holds the weight of heavy structures. The anchor is one of the most durable and reliable types of fasteners that are used to fasten the log to any foundation (tape, pile). If we discard all "sentiment", the anchor is still the same dowel, but with a more powerful base.

In the process of fixing, the lag anchor is mounted in much the same way as a self-tapping screw:

  1. Through holes are made in the bars, after which symmetrical, but not through holes are made in the base;
  2. To disguise the bolt head, the bars must first be countersunk;
  3. Since the anchor is very strong and able to hold heavy structures on itself, no more than 4 fasteners will be required to fasten one beam;
  4. The locking parts of the anchors are inserted into the holes obtained, through which the bolts are screwed;
  5. When flashing the log through, it is necessary that the bolts go deep into the base by about 6 cm.

To strengthen the bars on a rough basis, experts recommend using anchors with a diameter of 8 to 10 mm. Metal rods of this thickness can easily withstand very large loads.

brackets

Brackets are cantilever supports that serve as a static base for fastening parts in a vertical plane. As a rule, they are used in the process of attaching the log to the supporting pillars. Cross-shaped (x-shaped) curved parts have fixed sashes into which the beam is laid. The price of such products is much higher than in the case of self-tapping screws, however, the range of possibilities for such fasteners is much greater.

Very often in the process of laying the subfloor on strip foundation install brick posts. They play the role of supports and protect the tree from moisture. Since the lag breaks over time, without additional fasteners it can be deformed. The only convenient and reliable way to fix the bars on the supports is to use brackets.

Support posts

Log posts are supporting structures that are assembled from bricks with a cross section of 1-2 bricks. In fact, these elements perform the task of an "invisible" lining, preventing the effects of dampness on the tree. The columns are mounted in the case of laying a rough foundation on a strip foundation or concrete. Since the groundwater level can constantly change, in order to protect the logs from water, an underground is specially formed.

To properly strengthen the logs and build columns, you should consider the following points:

  1. It is undesirable to erect supports from hygroscopic materials - artificial stone or silicate brick;
  2. Do not install posts on loose soils that can be washed away by water;
  3. Supports that will be installed on non-flowing soil must be made above the level of the soil in the underground by at least 2-3 rows of masonry;
  4. It is advisable to lay the pillars with a single-row dressing, observing a single height level for all supports;
  5. You can fasten the bars to the supports using brackets, anchors, or special corners with self-tapping screws for concrete.

corners

Corners - galvanized metal parts with two planes located orthogonally to each other. The price of such fasteners is largely determined by the size of the elements themselves, as well as their thickness. The degree of strength of the corners directly depends on the mentioned parameters. In the process of fixing the lag, it is advisable to pay attention to such nuances.

Are you planning to independently make repairs in your house, apartment, cottage, warehouse or office space? Then our advice, recommendations and step by step instructions for the assembly of an adjustable floor.

There are several varieties of "adjustable floor" depending on the purpose of the room, the quality of the base and the design height of the floor. To solve the problems of raising the floor level to the required height and placing various communications under it, the floor structure is used on adjustable log ah DNT, which provides not only the required evenness of the floor for laying any type of flooring, including wooden flooring requiring minimal subfloor differences, such as parquet, parquet board or laminate (no more than 2 mm per 2 linear meters), but also allows you to make floor frame, if wooden beams are used as interfloor floors.

The specified design raises the floor to a height of 5 to 20 cm or more, depending on the height of the polymer bolts and the cross section of the log, and also allows you to fix it to both concrete and wooden or any other base.

To solve the problems of leveling the floor base without loss of height, an adjustable floor construction based on adjustable DNT slabs is used. Its use allows you to prepare the base for parquet, laminate or parquet board with a difference of no more than 2 mm per 2 linear meters. At the same time, the floor will rise to a height of 2 to 5 cm, which does not exceed the thickness of a conventional screed.

All these designs of DNT adjustable floors allow in the shortest possible time (there are no wet and dusty processes associated with concrete) to mount an even and reliable floor with increased sound and heat insulation of the room, the cost of which is not more expensive than traditional types of leveling (concrete screed, semi-dry screed or floors "Knauff"), and with a floor height of more than 5 cm, it can significantly save on the preparation of the base for the finishing coating.

Cons and disadvantages of "adjustable floor"

Disadvantages of an adjustable floor can manifest itself in case of non-compliance with the requirements for the correct installation of the floor, which also applies to other methods of leveling the subfloor.

At correct installation and compliance with all requirements for the quality of the material "DNT adjustable floor" is a reliable and durable base for any finishing coating on which you can not only walk, but also drive a car.

If you do not follow the DNT adjustable floor assembly technology, entrusting it to “woe to specialists” or use a regular plastic dowel nail to fasten polymer adjustable bolts to a concrete base, the adjustable floor will look like this:

Installation technology of adjustable floors DNT

Features of adjustable floors

  1. You can install the adjustable floor yourself without the help of professionals. To do this, it is enough to purchase necessary materials and stock up on simple tools.
  2. Floor installation takes very little time: 1-2 days. For comparison, a concrete floor screed should be dried for several weeks.
  3. An adjustable floor allows you to hide communications in the technological space, which means you can save space and remove all visual flaws under the floor base.
  4. With the help of an adjustable floor, you can significantly increase the sound insulation of a room, so this type of floor is often used in concert halls, studios and residential buildings.
  5. The adjustable floor has a fairly low weight. Therefore, you can install it in rooms with weak ceilings - in private houses or on loggias.
  6. When installing an adjustable floor, dirty work is practically not carried out. Accordingly, this coating option is ideal for rooms in which cleanliness is important.
  7. The adjustable floor can withstand a load of up to 2.5 tons per square meter. This means that this coating can be used for almost any type of premises (for residential buildings, offices, shops, warehouses).

Use of adjustable floors

Despite all the advantages of adjustable floors, many owners still think about the advisability of installing this type of flooring. So, when is it best to use an adjustable floor?

  1. If the floor surface is difficult or almost impossible to level (there are strong drops or irregularities).
  2. If to level the floor according to technical specifications heavy materials cannot be used.
  3. If you need to make a floor with different height levels.
  4. If there is a need to hide communications under the floor.
  5. If you want to create additional insulation from noise or cold.

Before we move on to detailed description installation process of an adjustable floor, let's understand it key features. To date, there are two types of adjustable floors on the market - these are floors on logs and adjustable floors on slabs. The main difference between these floor types is the minimum lift height.

When installing the floor on the logs, the rise is 5-20 centimeters or more. For an adjustable floor on slabs, the minimum lifting height can be from 3 centimeters.

The process of installing adjustable floors on logs or on slabs is almost identical, but we will still describe in detail the installation of each type so that you can do it yourself at home.

Technology for mounting an adjustable floor on logs

Logs are planed timber. Its dimensions, as a rule, do not exceed 50x50 centimeters. So, before we start installing the floor on the logs, we will decide on the materials and tools that we need.

Instruments

For self installation floor you will need: logs, wear-resistant bolts, drill, laser or water level, hammer, dowel-nails.

And now we will consider the step-by-step actions that will help you quickly and efficiently install the adjustable floor on the logs.

Preparatory stage of work

Video - Adjustable lags preparatory process

Installation phase

  1. We evenly lay out the wooden logs on the base of the floor. The distance between the lags depends on the choice of floor covering. If you plan to cover the floor with linoleum or lay out tiles, the distance between the lags should be small. Experts recommend taking a step between the lags no more than 30 centimeters. It is advisable to leave a distance from the lag to the wall of at least 1 centimeter. This will create the necessary ventilation.
  2. After laying out the lag, we proceed to the rigid fastening of the bolts to the base. To do this, we take a hard drill and drill a hole in the concrete through the bolt. The depth of the hole should be about 40 millimeters. Next, we insert a dowel-nail into the prepared hole.
  3. We hammer the dowel-nail with a hammer, fixing the polymer bolt to the base of the floor. Try to hammer in the nails as hard as possible so that the entire floor structure is not mobile in the future. Also, a good fastening will avoid squeaks and noise during the operation of the floor.

alignment

After the wooden logs are installed around the entire perimeter of the room and tightly bolted, we proceed to leveling. To do this, we need a water (or laser) level and a special tool (key) to adjust the height.

  1. We carefully measure the level data. The height difference can be no more than 1-2 millimeters.
  2. Using a special key, we raise or lower the bolts, focusing on the level. We try to achieve perfect alignment, because the quality of installation of the final floor covering depends on it.

The final stage of work

  1. After leveling the lags, we thoroughly fix the nails to the floor using a hammer.
  2. We cut off the unnecessary remnants of the bolt-racks with a knife or any other cutting device.
  3. If necessary, we lay materials between the lags for sound insulation or thermal insulation of the room.
  4. On the upper base of the lags we place the flooring. The choice of flooring materials depends on what kind of flooring you plan to use. Most often, plywood is used as flooring. It is suitable for further installation of laminate or linoleum. GVL or DSP is also used as flooring.
  5. After installing the flooring, we lay tiles, linoleum, laminate, parquet or any other coating on the adjustable floor.

The second type of floor arrangement is performed on slabs. It is chosen if the height of the floor should not exceed 3 centimeters. It is difficult to hide communications in such a space between the base of the floor and the coating, but it is quite possible to place cables from the telephone or the Internet here.

The installation process of this type of floor is somewhat reminiscent of the installation of an adjustable floor on logs.

Materials and tools

Before mounting the adjustable floor on the slabs, you need to prepare the following tools and materials: sheets of plywood or other material, bushings, stand bolts, a drill, self-tapping screws, a hammer, water or laser level.

Type of plywoodDescription
Plywood FCmoisture-resistant appearance, urea resin is used for gluing veneer sheets. This plywood is designed for indoor use.
Plywood FKMhas increased water resistance, is made on the basis of melamine resins. This type of plywood is unique because it is made from environmentally friendly melamine resins. Due to its environmental characteristics, plywood is used in furniture production and for interior finishing work.
Plywood FSFveneer sheets are glued together using phenolic resin. This type of plywood also has increased water resistance. It is not recommended for interior decoration rooms, so phenolic resins are harmful to health. Usually used for outdoor finishing work
Laminated plywoodcontains FSF plywood, which is covered on both sides with a special film. The plywood laminated is applied to production of a timbering. This type can be used multiple times.

Preparatory stage of work

  1. As with the installation of an adjustable floor on logs, the installation of a floor on slabs requires a certain preparation of the working surface of the floor. Be sure to remove excess debris and properly distribute communications that you plan to hide under the floor. Remember that the maximum lifting height will be about 3 centimeters.
  2. Carefully spread the sheets around the perimeter of the room. The distance between the sheets should be 2-3 centimeters on each side of the sheet.
  3. Mark points for drilling holes. With a sheet size of 1.5 by 1.5 meters, 9 holes will be enough. One hole should be located in the middle (center of the sheet), four holes may be at the corners of the sheet, and four more should be located in the center of each side of the sheet. This arrangement of holes will ensure reliable fastening of the sheet.
  4. First and second layers of plywood flooring

Final stage

  1. If necessary, we place thermal insulation or sound insulation of the floor on top of the sheets.
  2. After installing the sheets, we also lay out laminate, tile, parquet, linoleum or any other selected floor covering.

Secrets of a successful adjustable floor installation

After finishing installation work be sure to thoroughly clean the floor surface before installing the flooring. Excess debris, sawdust, pieces of plastic can create creaks and noise after laying the top layer of the floor.

Thoroughly hammer and tighten all floor fixings. The reliability of the entire structure depends on this.

If you are making a high floor, it is advisable to place soundproofing material between the joists. This will avoid unnecessary noise during floor operation.
Don't skimp on the quality of materials. It is more profitable to immediately choose more expensive materials for floor installation, instead of already through a short time completely redo all the work.

If, after installing the floor, you need to move communications, simply remove a few strips of adjustable floor in the right place. After doing necessary work you can easily put the floor in its original place.

We hope that our advice, as well as step-by-step instructions, will help you install an adjustable floor in your home, cottage or office on your own, quickly and without any difficulty.

Video - Adjustable floors

The problem of leveling the base is always relevant when laying modern topcoats. effective ways several, one of them is a rough adjustable floor. This design consists of wooden logs fixed on supports, flooring, for example, plywood, is laid on top. Such a system allows you to level the surface with high accuracy. This method is very simple, so everyone can make adjustable floors with their own hands.

Types of adjustable floors

Structurally, there are two types according to the alignment mechanism: studded and adjustable plywood. The first option involves the use of beams on which the flooring is installed. In turn, the logs are fixed to the studs, which allow you to adjust the floor level. The second method involves attaching the coating directly to the control mechanism without intermediate elements.

Fig.1.

The device of the floor along the logs is used when it is necessary to level and raise its level to a height of 5 to 20 cm, for example, this is true for a balcony and loggia, when the height difference can reach 15 cm or more. If it is only necessary to create a flat surface, it is advisable to opt for the option without beams.

As the main supports, plastic rack bolts, an adjustable floor anchor, metal studs, corners, etc. can be used.

Advantages and disadvantages

Adjustable floors were invented as an analogue of the cement-sand screed. They have almost all of its properties and have a number of advantages that are not characteristic of it.

  • The absence of a water-based solution eliminates leaks, prolonged drying, and makes it possible to work at low temperatures. An adjustable floor in an apartment is used as an alternative to a cement screed.
  • After assembly, you can immediately lay the flooring.
  • The raised floor always has an underground space. Communications (water supply, heating, electrical wiring, etc.) can be laid in it, thermal insulation and sound insulation are arranged.
  • The design is lightweight and can be used in rooms with a low bearing capacity of the floor, for example, a loggia, a balcony, etc.
  • Plywood floor on logs are great for laying various options heating. Together with them, water and electrical systems all kinds.
  • The adjustable floor is durable and strong, it can be laid on any floor covering.
  • Its cost is low due to the use of inexpensive materials and components.
  • Installing plywood on the floor is very simple. You can make flooring with your own hands from traditional building materials.

Draft adjustable floor does not tolerate high humidity. Therefore, it is not recommended to arrange it in bathrooms and bathrooms. This circumstance is probably the only drawback.

Where and when to apply

Considering the design features, advantages and disadvantages, we can conclude that this type of flooring is advisable to use when:

  • It is necessary to level the surface and significantly raise its level, and the base does not allow a thick layer of screed. The height of the level can be up to 20 cm.
  • Under the raised floor, it is necessary to lay communications, for example, heating pipes.
  • It is necessary to make thermal insulation or sound insulation.
  • The design of the room provides for zones with different levels of floors.

Adjustable floors with plastic bolts

You can buy a ready-made kit. These are floors according to the new technology, the so-called dnt. The kit includes plastic bolts - supports for logs and fasteners. Using this set, it is very easy to assemble the cover.

Fig.9.

For mounting in bars, holes are made in increments of 50 cm and threaded for adjustable screw supports. Then the bolt is screwed into the bar. Next, the beams are placed parallel to each other with a step of 40 - 50 cm, and a hole is drilled directly through the bolt in the base and fixed with an anchor.

Fig.10.

Rotating the plastic support achieve the desired position of the beams. The protruding part of the bolt is cut down with a chisel. Thus, a lag for the floor is installed.

The principle of mounting adjustable plywood is similar to the previous method. Holes are drilled in it with a step of 50 cm and the flange is coaxially fixed. It has a thread, so plastic bolt can easily move up and down, thereby setting the required level of raising the floor. A dowel is attached to the base of the support - with a nail.

Fig.11.

DNT is a great way. However, with all the advantages, there is still one drawback - not in all regions it can be purchased. Therefore, an adjustable floor anchor is often used, which can be bought at any hardware store.

Adjustable floors on anchors

In this type, an adjustable support based on a wedge anchor is used. A bar for the floor is used with a section of 50x50 mm. Fasteners for the log consists of an anchor, two nuts and two washers.

Holes are drilled at the base of the floor in increments of 50 cm and anchors are fixed. Nuts are screwed onto them and washers are put on.

Fig.12.

Holes are made in the bars in increments of 50 cm. In each of them, a counterboring is performed with a diameter of 20-25 mm and a depth of 10 mm to install the top nut and washer in the sweat so that they do not interfere with the flooring. Next, the sex logs are put on the anchor. Thus, the nut with the washer is on the underside. By turning the nut, you can adjust the position of the beams. The top nut is necessary for secure fixing.

After installing and fixing all the beams, the protruding parts of the studs are cut off with a grinder or a hacksaw.

Fig.13.

According to a similar scheme, adjustable plywood is installed. The difference in the installation technology lies in the fact that before the decking, all support nuts are pre-set to the same required level.

Fig.14.

Floor options

Materials for the adjustable floor device can be different. Traditionally, sheet materials are used such as plywood, fiberboard, DSP, GVL, OSB, etc. The choice in favor of one or another option depends on the type of finishing floor covering and operating conditions.

Usually plywood is used as flooring. It is well suited for laying linoleum or laminate. A two-layer version can be used, while the thickness of the sheet material must be at least 12 mm, or a single-layer version, then sheets of at least 20 mm are used. The last method is used for a system without lag.

Fig.15.

With a two-layer flooring, the layers are fixed with an offset of at least a third of the sheet length, thus increasing rigidity.

If tiles are planned as a floor covering, then the flooring can be made of GVL or DSP or analogues. This is due to the fact that these materials are not afraid of moisture and have high rigidity.

Fig.16.

If a wooden flooring is expected, then a tongue-and-groove board is laid directly on the logs. It is laid across the bars and fixed with screws through the tongue. To ensure that the euroboard does not play and the structure is rigid, the thickness of the flooring should be chosen from 30 mm.

Fig.17.

Adjustable floors from improvised materials

It often happens that it is difficult to acquire the necessary component materials described above. In this case, the lag bracket can be made on the basis of studs or metal corners. The rest of the technology is the same as in traditional methods.

Stiletto adjustable floor

Installation of the lag on the concrete floor is carried out using a driven brass anchor, studs, two nuts and two washers. This is how the simplest do-it-yourself support is made. The hairpin is used with a diameter of 8 mm. The remaining elements are selected in the appropriate size.

Fig.18.

A hole is drilled in the floor and an anchor is installed. A pin is screwed into it. A nut is screwed onto it and a washer is put on. The top nut is used to fix the bar. After the final installation of the lag, the part of the support protruding above it is cut off.

Installing the anchors is the most difficult part of installing a studded adjustable floor. The floor slab is hollow, and the anchor can fall into its cavity, so it should not be deeply buried in the ceiling.

Adjustable corner floor

Corners are used as an adjustable support, they are attached to the dowel with nails or self-tapping screws. The size of the corners is chosen depending on the level of raising the floor, but not less than 50x50 mm.

Metal corners are fixed along the installation line with a step of 50 cm. Bars are attached to them at the same time exposing them to the required level. This job is easy to do with two people.

Fig.19.

In order for the structure to be as rigid as possible, the corners are installed on both sides of the bar.

Adjustable floors with underfloor heating

All types of underfloor heating can be used, the laying pattern of which depends on the finish coating.

The most versatile water heated floors. They are installed under the flooring of the raised floor on top of the heat insulator. In this case, any decorative coating can be applied.

Fig.20.

Similarly, you can do with a warm floor based on an electric heating cable. This approach works well for any floor covering. However, if ceramic tiles are planned, then more effective work underfloor heating will be achieved if the heating cable is laid under the tiles on top of the flooring.

Underfloor heating based on infrared heating elements is performed differently. In the case of laying a laminate, the film is laid directly under it.

Fig.21.

When ceramic tiles or linoleum, the heating element is laid between layers of plywood or OSB.

We considered several options for the device of adjustable floors. From an economic point of view, the most successful option is stilettos. From the point of view of ease of execution - on the corners. The bolt-on method is a compromise of high accuracy and ease of installation, however, the cost of the installation kit is quite high. Regardless of which raised floor you choose, this technology will significantly reduce repair time, and as a result you will get an even, strong and reliable base suitable for laying any decorative coating.

The arrangement of a wooden floor on logs is the same, long-forgotten old technology that has revived like a Phoenix and acquired the outlines of a new, advanced one. Contributed to the return of the idea of engineering achievements: concrete slabs and modern methods of manufacturing hardware.

Wooden floors: advantages and disadvantages

Traditional styling the floor was based on the following operations: in the house, logs were laid every meter along the base, to which the boardwalk was attached. The advantages of floors on logs over concrete screeds that have come to replace them are undeniable:

  • Natural wood flooring is warm. This is known to those residents of old buildings, whom households often reproach for an unforgivable sin - the habit of walking barefoot around the apartment.
  • Its surface withstands significant loads, impacts, repairs, restructuring. At the same time, it does not chip, does not crack, nothing falls off of it;
  • In most cases, pavements laid decades ago are still alive today. They were ennobled, covered with parquet and carpet on top, but natural base preserved;
  • The price of the material - wood - is relatively low: by the middle of the last century, this material completely replaced clay coatings.

The disadvantage of the technology was significant. This is the complexity of installation and, accordingly, its cost. The difficulty was in leveling the plane of the board. It was not easy to find adjustable supports (brackets) for the beams, even more difficult, almost impossible, to fix them: the ground was unreliable, and there was nothing to break through the concrete (already existed).

Preparation for work

Need to find a solution to the problem:

  • The floor must be wooden, fixed on the logs;
  • The bases for the flooring device from the board must be adjustable.

At the same time, the complexity of the installation of the lag should be such that wood flooring in the house one master could make (on the strength of two) in a couple of days. There are such solutions. Their price corresponds to the average cost of installing floors. Installation is so simple that the work can be done by one person. At the same time, the reliability of fastening remains one hundred percent.

The principle of installing floors on adjustable logs

Modern concrete structures, in which slabs serve as a draft base, made it possible to return to an environmentally friendly, reliable, warm wooden floor on the lags. Thanks to the widespread use of power tools, the development of technology, a wide selection of hardware, it is possible to lay the flooring in the house on adjustable logs.

There are many options for how to install and how much to pay: beams, for example, are mounted on adjustable prefabricated anchors, the price of which is 3-6.5 USD. a piece. You can buy carpentry corners (which is cheaper) and install the floor in the apartment yourself. You can invite a specialized team: the estimated installation price will be 19-20 USD. for 1 m 2.

Innovative way

Patented technology using plastic threaded bushings and dowels. The sequence of work is as follows:

  • AT wooden bars through holes are drilled;
  • Threaded polymer sleeve fingers are screwed into them. In the future, these fingers will serve as support posts;
  • Beams are installed in their proper places;
  • The lower part of the sleeve is attached to the concrete base with a dowel. Fasteners must be located exactly in the center of the sleeves, allowing them to rotate around the axis;
  • Now the sleeve serves as a worm - its rotation leads to the movement of the beams in height;
  • Using the spirit level, all the bars are brought to the same level;
  • The sleeve shank remaining on top is cut down with a chisel;
  • After leveling is completed, boards, plywood or other coatings are laid.

A similar technology is used for laying plywood without boards. The base device is performed as follows:

  • Select support bushings-brackets with internal thread. Through holes are drilled in plywood with a feather at the places where the supports are installed;
  • The bushings are inserted into the holes and fixed on the sheets with self-tapping screws;
  • Polymer sleeves are screwed into the formed nests.

Further actions are similar to the previous technology. The manufacturer offers a video that can be viewed at the end of the article.

Costs are formed based on how many and which kits will be used. The price of one set of four logs with bolts, set by the manufacturer, depends on the length of the beam: 1000 mm costs 20 USD, 2000 mm - 33 USD, and 3000 mm - 45 USD.

Available Option: Brackets

In addition to polymer sleeves, adjustable logs in the house are mounted on U-shaped racks. Each stand-bracket on the side surface has pairs of holes located at different levels with a 5 mm pitch. If you modify the brackets yourself, then you can provide as many levels as the master considers necessary. The device of a wooden floor is performed as follows:

  • Through each meter, mark the axes along which the beams will be laid;
  • U-shaped fasteners are installed on the lines and screwed to the concrete slab;
  • Measure the degree of deviation from the horizontal of the draft base, determine the points of minimum and maximum height;
  • Calculate the height of the mid-level mount;
  • Install the extreme beams and display their horizon at a given level;
  • They are installing all intermediate bars, checking their level along the extreme lags.

At the end of the work on the installation of the bars, the extra "ears" of the racks are cut off and the flooring is installed - boards, other plates.

Floors on supports made of furniture studs

Another way to lay the log on adjustable supports is to use a furniture stud, double-sided - with metric and single-thread threads. They have long been used for attaching hinged elements to concrete, brick, wooden surfaces. To lay a wooden floor on logs, studs with a section of 8-10 mm are suitable.

The bars must first be prepared. To do this, every 30 cm they drill:

  • Holes corresponding to the sections of the studs;
  • Coaxial half-holes with a diameter of 20-25 mm and a depth of 20 mm - for screwed nuts.

The device of floors in the house is performed as follows:

  • The bars are laid in increments of 1 meter;
  • Holes are drilled in the concrete base, coinciding with the holes in the beams;
  • Install polymer dowels;
  • Screw in the pins.

The next step is to prepare the support brackets: two nuts are screwed onto the studs and washers are put on, the outer diameter of which exceeds 30 mm. Install the beams so that they rest on the washers; one more nut is baited on top. The heights are leveled: the level is set with one lower nut, the second - with a locking nut - is fixed. Complete the installation of the subfloor by tightening the top nuts. With the help of a grinder, the protruding ends of the studs are cut off and the flooring is prepared - boards, plywood, OSB.

The price of the work is minimal: they can be done independently. The cost of hardware matters, but they are considered consumables. Compared to the cost of the main raw material, this value can be neglected.
